Horrible hotel experience This was the worst HI Express we have ever stayed in! I would give it no stars if I could. The public restrooms on main floor were problems; the woman's had no soap and the men's had no paper towels. Our room had bathroom issues: one-half of sink mirror light was burnt out and shower doors almost immovable. We checked in at 3:00 pm on 5/19 and given our room. Then at 8;00 pm people were knocking at our door claiming they had our room. I called front desk, the lady was quite confused and started to tell me you are people who just checked into room and need to move. I told her that was incorrect and we are not moving. Then to top all of this off, we go downstairs for breakfast in morning and there is hardly any food! No english muffins, no bagels, only 2 pieces of bread, no cereal, no milk, no oatmeal, limited fruit, no plastic knives and no to-go lids for coffee cuos! We asked the employee in food area and she food truck was late! Why even advertise free breakfast with room. I will never stay at this hotel again and recommend others do not as well.

Very disappointed On way back to Fl from Ky. We checked in late. Great staff! She gave us a recommendation for local restaurants. Very friendly front desk! When we went to our room after eating, it was after sunset. Cold night so air was not needed often. Compressor noisy when it did kick on but it’s an old motel. Next morning we noticed carpet was filthy! Shower handle did not work. Coffee in room did not work. We let front desk know on check out. She said someone would get back to me. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Housekeeping and maintenance needs serious help.

Decent Great stay. Everything worked in the room. TV was awesome. The room was comfortable. Bed and pillows were delightful. Decent property. Friendly staff. Affordable. Breakfast was late both days of my stay. I stayed here because of the breakfast. Really disappointed.

Great Staff but Seedy Clientele I recently stayed at this location for six nights. On the final night, there was an odor of cigarette smoke coming from the room next to mine that was so strong it was impossible to sleep. The guest services did what they could by addressing the occupant, but it had no effect. My other option was to pack up and move rooms at 1:00 am, so I stuck it out.

The staff and hotel accommodations were great! We are a military family and I haven't been home to Dothan, AL. over three years. So I was looking forward to coming home but wanted me and my family to stay in a nice comfort/clean hotel for the long Columbus day weekend. We got just that! The staff, hotel and room was A+. We had a family emergency with our son having a allergic food reaction at a family dinner and his meds were in the our room. Me and my wife hotel keys had demagnetize and wouldn't work to get the door open. A staff member by the name of Patricia Parks saw me, my wife and son in distress in front of our room door, trying to get in but with no luck. She opened the door right away so we could get my son meds for his allergic reaction. Which cleared up later that night. So our family are so thankful for the caring and quick response of Miss Parks. I would suggest this hotel to anyone having a short or long stay in Dothan, AL. They will be please! Thanks again to Tasha Lane, Patricia Parks and the rest of the staff for your help and hospitality.
