Great value. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. Always a plus with a quiet air conditioner which was easy to control. Unusual odor in hallway but it was isolated to that area. Breakfast was good, parking easy, and a great location. Good value. Will stay again.

Outstanding Hotel Management Booked a room for one night in the midst of a road trip. Check-in was flawless. Room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. I have chronic back pain. This was among the most comfortable beds I have slept in anywhere. All was well until a loud knock on the door at 5am which startled me awake. Just about the time I was getting back to sleep, another loud knock. On the elevator, I asked another traveler if they were awakened by a door knock, and they confirmed that they too had a loud knock around 5am. In-room coffee is decent, as was the breakfast. The scrambled eggs and sausage gravy was very good. When checking out, we informed the desk clerk that we were disturbed by someone knocking on the door at 5am. About an hour later, the manager called me, thanking me for informing them of the disturbance. He told me that he reviewed the security cameras and saw people running down the hallways knocking on doors in the early morning hours. He said he threw them out of the hotel and asked them to not return. We were impressed that the desk clerk passed our information to the manager who followed up, took action and took the time to call us. I highly recommend the Sleep Inn & Suites Dothan, AL.

Not very good for a Sleep Inn Oct 8, 2023 Took over 70 minutes to get settled in to my room, second room. First room the TV would not use the full screen Girl tied her best, but could not do it. Said all the TV's were like that. I called Visio. Person told me the TV's should use full screen. It needs to be adjusted in the settings with the Visio remote. As for the second room, 325. My phone reads wi-fi not secure! Room had a musty smell. Good thing I bring air freshener. Carpet was a lot better then it looks. Hot water was hot. Thank you. Something in the shower ceiling that loos like mold. Where you flush the toilet appears to bee green mold but I don't think it is. Fitted sheet was very worn. I will stay again just to see if they care or not and fix these problems.

An "o.k.", One Night Stay The room was clean and ready on arrival, however, there was a strong musty smell permeating the room. We turned the air up, left for dinner, and hoped the odor would dissipate. A call to the front desk resulted in the attendant telling us it was a result of "the room not being occupied for four days". Upon our return after dinner, the odor was tolerable. We spent the night. Breakfast/dining area was good.

Good breakfast, average bed, below average front desk staff I have stayed here in the past, when it wasn’t as well “maintained” (clean). This was the best I have ever seen it. THIS IS NOT THE RITZ CARLTON, but it was okay. The room smelled clean, no stains anywhere and the carpet, while showing it’s age was clean. The check-in clerk was efficient, but not overly polite. She kept charting with the construction worker who was checking in in front of me—for about 10 minutes after the business of checking in was concluded. When I checked out at 7:30 a.m., I had to ring the bell because no one was at the desk. The clerk admonished me with, “You didn’t have to ring the bell I was on the way.” How was I to know you were en route if I could not see you, Einstein? But—if this is the worst thing that happened, then that is fine. The breakfast was better than expected. Waffle iron, fruit, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs turkey sausage, coffee, tea, 3 different kinds of juice and yogurt were on offer. They also had two kinds of cereal. Note: Get a room on the top floor if possible and get a room away from the elevator. Dothan hosts lots of traveling sports games and this hotel is generally occupied by lots of kids/coaches/parents. They will be up and down the elevator A LOT. And they like to jump up and down on the floor…staying on top will alleviate that. NOTE: if you are in a quandary about whether to stay here or pay -almost 100% more and stay at the Hampton next door —here was my thinking. I am a huge Hilton brand fan…especially Hampton Inn. However, the difference was just not worth it to me. The rooms at Hampton Inn are nicer and the lobby is nicer, but the beds were okay at Sleep Inn and the breakfast is essentially same. I paid $215 (total) for 2 nights here and it would have been $400 at Hampton.
