Not quite the best of Express stays Let me start this review by saying something pleasant. This Holiday Inn Express has some of the nicest, friendliest staff I've ever encountered in any of the chain. The bed was roomy, comfortable, and well stocked with comfy pillows. The hotel Internet was easily accessed and fast. Let's look now at the rest of the stay. This was not the hotel's fault, but the city had suffered a broken water main on the day of my arrival. There was no water. None. No ice. No swimming pool access. Outside, only a limited number of restaurants and fast food places were open. The hotel staff kept up with news about the break and could give up to the minute updates. It was about 3 a.m. before there was a good stream of water from the taps. When you're driving in through the entrance to the hotel grounds you may notice a pothole that has been there for quite a while. I hit it once by accident and thought for a second that another car had struck mine. Be aware of its presence. There appears to be no intention of filling it in or otherwise correcting the problem. The carpeting in my room was vacuumed well. However, there were smudges of some kind here and there. The one in this room needed either shampooing or replacing. I stepped out of the room a while after checking in and almost trod upon a cockroach, something I've not seen in Holiday Inn hotels before. It scurried under a door marked staff only, which turned out to be the laundry and linen room. There are stains on this face cloth. (See picture.) I don't like to speculate what they might be, but it should not have been put out with the other bath cloths. I almost washed my face with it before noticing something wasn't right. The express breakfast in this chain is geared to the guest who is up and about to be on his way in the early morning. The scrambled eggs were good, the sausage links were a bit on the hot side, and the biscuits were good. There are usually bananas, but this time the offering was what looked like, maybe, I guess (?) oranges. Whatever they were, they looked shrunken and I suspected they were able to legally vote. There is almost always a dispensing machine with two or three kinds of fruit juice. This hotel has one too, but this morning it had an out-of-order sign. (Here's a tip, Holiday Inn: Get it fixed.) I don't drink coffee, but there were little cartons of 2% milk and they were all right. So for the friendly and helpful employees I'll give this hotel 4 stars. The rest of the it, well, not so many. I was sort of glad to be on my way later in the morning.

Nice Hotel For A Quick Stop I stayed here for a night while in town for a quick trip to the area. The hotel was nice, clean, and friendly customer service. The only thing I could complain about was there were no cinnamon rolls at the complimentary breakfast! Please bring them back soon!

DO NOT STAY HERE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR & BOOK SOMWHERE ELSE Arrived at this hotel around 3am... (drove 16 hours from New Jersey) Traveling to Georgia for trailer maintenance in Tifton GA, 30 min from hotel. Arrived at 3 am, absolutely no parking, so I called front desk to ask where I should park. Guy on the line tells me, "I don't know if theres no parking just park anywhere you can fit" So I was like okay so your telling me its okay top park on the side of building? and he LAUGHS and says "hahaha yea that's what I said"...... Its 3 am, I'm tired, I just want to park, check in, and go to sleep. We park on the side of building like he told us to.I walk in and there all signs al over about ,masks but he had no mask on & during the rest of our stay no one in lobby had masks on, no front desk workers had masks, or the room service ladies..... Next morning around 6 am (running on 3 hours of sleep) I hear this non-stop banging very loud from above us. We stayed on the first floor. I just assumed it was kids running.. kids will be kids I'm not one to complain about kids. Then I hear scrapping noises on our window. Turns out there were roofers replacing the roof & pieces of the roof kept hitting the window as they fell. Now that were all up from the noises, we continue to get ready & proceed to truck at 11 am .. Our appointment was at 12 pm, & it was 30 minutes away. We come outside, and there are pieces of the roof & NAILS all over our vehicle!!!!! I have pictures and videos of everything, there were roofing nails about 3 inches long all over our truck, all underneath, and all over the ground. We started to clean up ourselves because we had somewhere to be. The roofers watch us clean up. None of them spoke english. Then they come out with an air blower and blow the roofing & nails all over the place. We finally made a clear path with no nails.... We proceed to leave & not even 2 minutes down the round we feel this terrible vibration & it was 2 of our back tires going flat... they're trailer tires so we were over $200 in repairs. We get to our appointment late. Later that day return back to hotel around 6 pm. They are STILL working on roof with materials all over the parking lot. I walk in to talk to manager about our experience. Lady at front desk has no mask on, tells me hold on one second, goes to get manager in office. I waited for 10 minutes. Then she comes out and tells me shes not available.... I told her about my experience and she says "theres nothing we can do if you want you can dispute the charge on your credit card. I was shocked...... ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS. Our last day there I go up yo desk to check -out. Its 2:03 pm.... SHE TELLS ME WE ARE BEING CHARGED FOR ANOTHER NIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS PAST 2 PM........ 3 MINUTES OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE GOT CHARGED ANOTHER $135 UNBELIVABLE EXPERIENCE. DEFFINATLY DO NO RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. ALL THE WORKERS WE DEALT WITH HAD POOR ATTITUDES & I LEFTY REVIEWS WITH THEIR NAMES IN DISTRICTS EMAIL. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY & KEEP IN MIND THIS PLACE IS NOT COVID FRIENDLY!!!!!!!

Average Holiday Inn, You Know What to Expect The room is spacious with a desk, table and chairs and another chair for TV viewing. The beds are firm. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave in room. Free breakfast - well kept up and friendly staff. My desk chair was stuck in the lowest position so I couldn't use it. They replaced my chair quickly. The rooms run a little cool but I was very happy with my 3-day stay.
