If the say renos .. they mean it! Stayed here for a night as it is right off the Interstate and the price was really good. I saw that it listed there was renovations taking place but I didn't give it too much thought as usually they put you on another floor the other side of the building. It was one night anyways just for a few hours sleep. When we got there there wasn't a lot of parking with the construction vehicles and storage containers. The entrance was routed around to the back of the hotel too. That's when I realized this might be interesting lol. Tons of renos all over. Our room was on the main floor and they were laying new tiles just down the hall. Anyways our room was clean and comfortable and we got the sleep we needed so it served its purpose. But if they say they are doing renos here they really mean it! It gets an average rating as I'm really not sure what else to give it, especially when they did provide a warning. It's on me and we had a good laugh about it.

Terrible Hotel This by far is the worst hotel by hyatt. I have stayed at the hyatt brand all across the country never have I ever been so disappointed with the service and staff.I would highly recommend staying in a tent under bridge in the worst weather possible before staying at the Hampton Inn by Hyatt in Douglasville Ga.

No surprises but... I read the prior reviews and was mostly prepared for the experience. The area had restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores, a large plus. The renovation, slated for August completion, isn't going to complete by then. I'd estimate 50% renovated at this point. The Beds, room walls/bathroom/tub/bathroom floors, hallways and carpet are done. The lobby, breakfast area, room furniture/carpet/AC, bathroom furniture not done.Parking was not an issue, tho could be if the property were sold out (it wasn't when I was there). Access is a sudden right turn, on a fast road. Staff are friendly, The room carpet was dirty and old. The beds were comfortable. The AC didn't work well, leaving the room constantly damp. Housekeeping, on request as I found out on Day 2 coming back to an unmade room, never showed even after multiple requests for the week. Breakfast was simple but good quality Hampton Inn fare.

Valet@Your Service This property is (as it was explained to me) newly under construction. AS it SHOULD be. It should be noted on the website. It is a very dreary, dark, almost macabre-like feeling here. The halls are gloomy because they are so DATED, please remove ALL of that carpet. (thru-out the property). There was also a little concern for the element of guest, this should be addressed. However, you must give credit where credit is due. The STAFF here are exceptionally courteous. After all, THEY didn't build the Hotel. and I'm sure they're not responsible for its structure. Help them out HILTON.
