One of the best Red Roof hotels in the country I have to admit this is one of the nicest and cleanest Red Roof Inns I ever stayed at, and I've literally stayed at hundreds over the past 20 years. As soon as you drive into the parking lot, you notice there is NO garbage lying around anywhere, which is a good sign. They also have a lot of trees in the parking lot area which makes it more woodsy and relaxing. The premium king room was very clean. The mattress is firm and the fridge worked good. The A/C seemed to be fine but maybe needed some refrigerant charged up since it wasn't ice cold on a hot day. The flat screen TV is HUGE like around 60 inches! The WiFi speed was good but not blazing fast, maybe around 20 Mbps. I wish this hotel would get a faster internet provider. The front staff was very friendly and helpful, which is a refreshing change from the rude and uncaring desk clerks I meet at other hotels. The parking lot was very quiet and safe with no shady people walking around at night. The hotel is right off the Columbus beltway so makes it easy to get to where you need to go. Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

A Mix of Good And Bad I spent 4 nights in this hotel and found it to be a mixed bag of good and bad as follows. Pros: My room was clean, bug free, and comfortably furnished with a good bed, office desk, and other conveniences. It was pleasantly quiet during my stay, the staff friendly, and the on-site washer/dryer ($2.75 each) especially convenient. Cons: Besides the minimal/cheap amenities, weak (2nd flr) shower, and some poor conditioned furniture, the main problem with this place was the terrible wifi. It disconnected constantly on me and was too weak for live video chat or streaming videos. This hotel should be a modest, good value 3 star place but the unacceptable wifi ruined it for me and warrants the rating downgrade. To management's credit, I got a personal email response to my criticism, so perhaps future guests will find improved conditions.

It's not as good as the rating. Higher rated place than I found. We got a king room, and it was very small. We brought two small dogs, and the fact that Red Roof allows pets was a plus, however, there wasn't enough room to turn around in the room with the extra items, which isn't much, for the dogs. The night we were there came back after getting a few items shopping, and other guests were sitting outside their rooms, in the parking lot sidewalk area, beer sitting next to them, drinking in the public. Half cases of beer, not just one. I don't wanna see that crap!! I have nothing against throwing down a few cold ones but have some respect!! The room, again, is very small. Our smaller dog constantly was able to get up under the bed, which should have been enclosed and not opened. She did help housekeeping, along with myself, clean up, under the bed as their were items under it that should have been previously picked up. Shower water pressure was low, and the shower curtain needed replaced. Overall, a hotel good for one night. I wasn't a fan of having people drinking alcoholic beverages right outside my door. Be careful bringing pets that investigate their surroundings due to the open bed underneath as that area wasn't cleaned. Hotel management, replace/fix the little maintenance issues!! 100 bucks for this was too high for my experience, and I wouldn't stay again.

Minor complaints but good value Overall, the room was adequate and reasonably comfortable and clean. There were minor maintenance needs neglected that could have made the stay much nicer, the most significant of which was the air conditioner making a horrible rattling noise when the compressor kicked on, awaking me all night. The microwave was also broken, the in-room safe wouldn't open, and the light over the sink flickered. I drank the in room-coffee on the first of three nights, and housekeeping never replenished it. Small complaints in the scheme of things - but small fixes would make this an outstanding stay. For the value, though, I would stay again.

Do not stay here. Upon arriving they tried to charge us more than my email confirmation letter. Parking area was poorly lit, people hanging out in the stairwells, room was very worn, stained and gummy, sticky feeling floor, room reeked of Fabreeze or some other offensive deodorizer. Just a general feeling of uneasiness staying there. We will not return nor would we recommend this Inn to anyone ever. The “Plus” in the name must mean Red Roof Inn.. Plus absolutely nothing nice about it.
