Can’t leave a negative yet Other people reviewed this hotel saying smelled of smoke and weed. It DID NOT. Got a room as a walk in. Great deal by the way, if you are medical, fire,LEO ask for a discount. I got a discount and was very appreciative. Room is clean, does not smell and has a working heater. All pluses in my book. Bed was clean and appears comfortable. If it’s not, I will edit my post. Stayed here for under $100 and I’m not disappointed

Good beds and shower, clean, but otherwise unacceptable and overpriced. The beds and bathroom are fine in this older hotel that needs lots of updating. Breakfast has no fresh fruit and is all wheat, but we are gluten free. The eggs were actually green and awful. The window curtains don't close completely and face the parking lot. No privacy. We used a coathanger to keep them closed. Nails are sticking up between the edge of the carpet and the tiles. That hurts when you step on them! The desk chair is too low for the desk. The clock was broken and left unplugged. There was a huge bug on the bathroom floor in the a.m. The pool was unheated, so too cold to use. The exercise room was a sorry excuse for one. I wouldn't advise staying here. We paid $145 plus tax.

There is no elevator First, this Hotel has two floors but has no elevator. So if you can't handle the steps, make sure you tell them. Friday Evening, Kids were running up and down the halls making a lot of noise which woke up a lot of other guests. The parents are at fault here, but Management should have stepped in and told them to keep the noise down. I got very little sleep that evening. These kids were still at it at 2 AM knocking on people's doors and running away. Again, the parents are at fault but Management should have stepped in. No other complaints except that they no longer have Gravy for the Biscuits during Breakfast, we were told that the owner stopped the gravy due to cost-effectiveness. The items that the owner buys for breakfast are a 100% write-off on the Business Taxes so the cost shouldn't be a factor. BRING BACK THE GRAVY! The room was extremely hot and it took a while for the window floor unit to cool the room down. The AC unit is also very loud. I didn't have to pay for the room since we were here in Business. But I have already asked that we use another hotel until the owners here upgrade this hotel.

You get what you pay for. The room smelled like old moldy tacos and was EXTREMELY humid (every surface felt damp and sticky). The walls were covered in splatters, scratches holes, etc. The window did not lock (first floor). The long mirror that obviously used to be hung on the wall was stashed hazardously in the open luggage area. The beds were somewhat comfortable and fortunately had clean (but worn) linens. The bathroom mirror and frame had splatters all over it, mold in shower calking, trash on the floor, and debris of an unknown origin around the toilet seat. On the upside, the towels were plentiful and appeared clean. Hallways need vacuuming, but the lobby was well cared for and visually appealing. Breakfast offerings were average, but filled our bellies. However, the yogurt was expired by 3 weeks and the coffee was so weak it tasted like colored water. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However based on conversations overheard, they were overwhelmed and understaffed.

Don't stay there My husband and I were passing through and just needed a room for one night with our dog. The lobby seemed nice and check in was quick and easy but we were very disappointed with the room. We were traveling with our dog so we did get a first floor end unit that makes it convenient with a pet. However, the room was disgusting. The floor was filty and in minutes our socks were black and covered in long dog hair (our dog is short haired). We did check the bed sheets and bath towels and they did appear to be clean. The bed was actually very comfortable but that was the only positive thing of the whole stay. The curtains were broken and had a nasty greasy substance on them. My husband used a tissue to pull them closed. It was late and we were tired. Otherwise, we would have asked for a refund and move on to another hotel. The tub had a crack on the floor so I imagine there will be some water damage at some point. Since we were so disappointed with the dirty room, we didn't stay and try the breakfast.
