Holiday Inn Express & Suites Atlanta NE - Duluth by IHG

Horrible Check in. Make sure booking and card names are the same I guess. Okay rooms for the price. This hotel is basic but will have everything you need for a quick stop to rest The following is our experience trying to check in which ruined our experience at this hotel. When we tried to check in, we were told we couldn't use the card that we are required to put on file with Booking.com because the card is under my husbands name, and not my name. Here is the best part we have the same last name as we are married and we both presented the worker with both of our IDs but that wasn't enough. Even after talking with the manager, he gave my husband all kinds of excuses of why he would be unable to use the card on file. Apparently there is a issue with charge backs at this hotel which is NOT the guest fault. It's really sad to put your business issues on a guest who is trying to check in for the night. We were also continually gasslit by the staff and manger (whom was on a phone and not in person) that ALL hotels do this. Funnily enough, I am writing this from another hotel that gave us no problem with check in using my husbands credit card, and we have stayed in over 5 hotels all booked through booking.com the same way. We almost left out of frustration, and I am still really surprised by this horrible lack of customer service. If you are having issues with charge backs welcome to owning a business. It is so unfair to take this out on your guests who are just trying to get some rest. Some advice if this happens to you at this hotel, all you have to do is change the name on the third parties website, and apparently that's enough. We won't be back as there are plenty of other hotels in the area, and I hope no one else has to go through this ridiculousness when they try to check in.

They sold my items. I was in room 301 when I left for work. They parked all my things out of the room , saying that I only paid for one night, but they had my card info in there system, when I came back went to my supposed to be room no access ,when back to the reception to sort things out, they said oh they didn'tknow I was sta ying more nights, and they had already parked up my belongings.keeping for me what they chose and making aay with ones they liked, without calling me or any sort of information They finally gave me another room but my stuffs where already missing and the Manger claims he can't find.them he called the cleaner, who agreed to keep some of my stuffs where he wanted to , and put the ones he didn't want in my suitcase, otherwise whats stopped him from putting everything in my box since they wete parking them up for me, the Manger finally said He was going to give me 20dollar discount for my missing items. I refused and they said they will look for it. I knew I was not safe because what I came in with wasn't checking with me. , I left the next morning, eventually they called me back around noon to come and pick up the ones they found some of my item were gone with no explanatios, I left very disappointed.

A hidden gem We traveled from our family vacation and got caught in a heavy rain on Christmas day. Fortunately, we are IHG premier members and booked an assigned room with the points. Ms. Leoneiis is so nice; she gave us a King bed suite room 222, which is huge and clean. Highly recommend the hotel.

Close to Gas South, hotel had roaches. Stayed at this Holiday Inn in early November 2023 for six nights. First night there I find roaches in my room. I notified the front desk, was told that the hotel would deep clean my room. Come back later that day and nothing had been done. Again told the desk, staff didn’t seem to care, I have feeling this is an ongoing issue. Late night desk clerk was also extremely rude and threatening. After I had checked out the sales manager assured me that they would fumigate the hotel. Just know you might have roommates staying here.

Nice hotel, POOL COLD! The accommodations were nice. The breakfast was good, but it seemed the same every morning. The staff was mostly pleasant. I was able to add an extra night without any issue. My biggest complaint was the pool was COLD! We purposefully chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool.
