Great place to stay @. I have been here for A month . Was staying @ the Days Inn down the street in Elizabeth City for the month of August . These people here @ Travelers are very courteous and go out of their way to help You!! ROOMS are nice and spacious and clean .. The woman named Brittany always is very professional. She works @ the front desk. Brittany and her husband helped us put together A wheelchair carrier and attach it to our car.

Truly a great and friendly place to stay Very friendly and reasonable priced to stay. We were staying at the days inn, we stopped by the traveler's inn. And found inn to clean friendly and helpful. I do recommend this inn to anyone that needs it, so give them a call and stop in. Thank you

Exceeded Expectations This hotel was a great value. The whole place was bright and clean. The staff was very friendly. The room had plenty of space for my family of five. The booking process was very easy. It felt like a very safe place to stay as well. I wasn't sure what to expect as it didn't have a brand name I was familiar with, but we felt blessed to find this hidden gem.

Check room before renting This hotel was our choice between less expensive hotels with terrible reviews, and more expensive hotels out of our budget. It's an older hotel with outside entry just off main Highway 17 near the hospital and College of the Albemarle. Although it's several miles away from the downtown area, there are a Captain D's, McDonald's, Food Lion, Dollar General and Chinese carryout nearby. On check-in the owner upgraded us from two double beds to a king, without our asking. The king room may not have used in some time. There was no soap and no facial tissue. The room decor was not inviting, in shades of brown. Two of the same picture hung side by side. There was a brown reclining chair but we did not use it. One side of the bed made a scraping metallic noise when sat upon but was otherwise comfortable. The towels were thin and coarse. We did not make coffee or tea but noticed that unwrapped foam cups were provided.. The main problem, however, was the floor. It was not level, in a first floor room, and my husband and I had significant balance issues that scared us until we realized the problem. There is no breakfast at this hotel although it obviously has been offered in the past. Things we liked were that the room was clean, we heard no road noise and the fridge had a freezer component. I would not stay again without checking the room first.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN EC!!! Hands down the cleanest and most comfortable place to stay. I saw the other reviews online and chose this one over other lodging facilities in town. The staff truly cares about their place of work. See you guys next year !
