Pleasant stay for one night. This hotel is in good shape, considering it is an older one. Very clean. Desk clerk at check-in was very welcoming. I had pre-selected a room on the 5th floor. She asked if we had a pet with us, to which we did not. She suggested moving to a different floor since the 5th floor was used for pets. The breakfast was typical Hampton Inn. The only negative was no soap for the shower, thus, only 4 stars.

Don't Trust the Website Photos The pictures on the website make it appear that all is well with the hotel. There have been surface upgrades; new carpet, maybe some paint, but underneath it all, it's still an old, dingy hotel that was in serious need of an upgrade 15 years ago. I checked in around 1 am. No greeting. No acknowledgement that I was an Honors member. The room I selected via the Digital Key app was given to someone else. I got a room that should have been for a pet. Not an owner and a pet - just the pet. First of all, very dingy lighting in the room. I believe it is on purpose so you can't tell just how bad it all really is. The pillows on the bed were lumpy, bunched up balls of foam. You can't really call them pillows. I would expect this maybe at a campground. The cases were threadbare and should have been tossed out long ago. They were wrinkled and yellowed and thank God they didn't smell because I would have left immediately. There were several sections of broken drywall. I'm not sure why it hadn't been repaired. The bathroom door slid back and forth barndoor style between the bathroom and the closet. The drywall above the doorway to the bathroom had been damaged so they took a chunk of wood, screwed it in above the doorway and hung the door track on the wood. That pushed the door away from the opening about 2-1/2 inches. No wonder why the front desk clerk (no smile, no greeting) asked me if I was in the room by myself. How embarrasing if you were traveling with a friend and not a spouse and you needed to do some business in the toilet. Your friend could see right in the bathroom - you might as well not have a door! Let's talk about the toilet. The seat attaches to the bowl via screws and then there is usually a cap that snaps over the screws. Missing. Instead, I found dried urine and detritus covering those little screw areas. The bathroom floor was sticky and my shoes squeak-squeaked and stuck to the floor. There is a little overflow hole in the sink and that little gem had never been cleaned. Gross. The tub was old, yellowed plastic and I can't tell you much about it other than I skipped a shower as I would not even step in the tub. Towels were yellowed and did not smell fresh. The boxspring cover was torn in multiple places. The bedding was yellowed and dingy and wrinkled. The floor had not been vacuumed, especially near the a/c unit. I wonder if the black crumb-like debris had shot out the a/c unit. It was completely filthy, covered in dust, dirt and who knows what? If I had not just driven 12 hours to reach this hotel destination, I would have left. It should not be given the Hilton name, nor should travelers even consider this a viable hotel of any sort. It was filthy and nasty. I failed to take pictures of the breakfast area. The chair cushions were work along all edges - the fake "leather" was work completely away and threads were coming out of the seams. The hotel was packed with travelers so they are pulling in some great money. It's too bad they continue to fool the public into booking a room rather than spend some of that money to clean and update the hotel.

Unhospitable Staff/Ended Up Stranded Absolutely awful staff. I had been on the road for quite a long travel and when I arrived, the lady at the Front Desk said she didn't have a reservation under my name. She also stated that they were entirely booked out, turned me away, and didn't make any offer to walk me to another hotel or suggest another place I could stay at. I called Expedia, they called the property, Expedia called me back when I was already 40 minutes up the road, to tell me that they SUDDENLY NOW HAD A ROOM for me and to turn back around. Absolutely not. I ended up sleeping as a single female alone in a rest stop area whilst being out $200.00 that was never refunded.

Not staying here again. I stay in a lot of Hilton Properties because of my status. This one has two sides. While the property was clean there were issues with the staff and the room. I was not greeted as a HH guest. The first words from the desk staff out of the box were no or negative, rather how can we help you. They seem uninterested in having me stay in there hotel. When I checked in after using points online, the first thing they said we only have rooms on the Pet Friendly floor. I finally asked whether they have any reserved rooms for HH Guests with Lifetime Diamond Status. The first answer was no, then they found a mobility accessible room for me, after I repeatedly asked. The room was clean however, the curtains didn't work. We come to find you need to push a button, but were not told about it. The second issue was that the shower head didn't stay fixed on the rod and so you had to hold it in your hand. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk they were uninterested, but indicated they would bring it up to maintenance.

A Road That Shouldn’t Have Been Taken Christmas Music in February? There is something to be said about a hotel with no one at the desk upon arrival. When a staff member finally appears—no greeting. A less than stellar room awaited. A couple of messily made beds greeted us. There were weak offerings at breaksfast and Christmas carols playing in the backround. ? Needless to say, we won’t be returning in the near future.
