Candlewood Suites Enterprise by IHG

Need new housekeeping manager We a family of four, two adults and two kids stayed for one night at Candlewood Suites in Enterprise, AL. Our stay was unsatisfactory. Our room was in bad condition, the AC did not work properly to cool the room, there was not a drop of shampoo, soap or body wash and there was only one bowl for 4 people to share. My concern was addressed with the front desk employee, and we asked to move to a different room. My request was denied with the no other room available answer. In the morning we requested to speak with the housekeeping manager. The housekeeping manager was ignorant and unprofessional and refused to inspect the room.

Under Renovation not ready for paying guests Read all the reviews and believe what we and others say. Security and lot lighting do not exist. On the very first night my truck was backed into and damaged. Were set up for a expended 30 day stay but only made it 5 days. The ongoing renovations made this appalling IHG hotel unbearable as a paying guest. To may repairs need at this time to make this a suitable location to enjoy and relax. The web site show a hotel from a different time. What you get when you arrive is a dump that is under construction that you pay to stay at. ANY HOTEL WOULD BE BETTER THAN THIS .

Terrible hotel My wife and I stay in hotels very often due to work and our daughter playing travel softball, which was the case for this visit. This hotel is beyond terrible! The poor highlights include..... The toilet keeps running so you have to manually push the plunger down so the tank fills back up. The carpet is sticky so you have to wear shoes the whole time. There are stains all over the walls and cigarette burns on the furniture. The shower curtain rod is hanging down. Folks actually live here so you can imagine the type of people in the room beside you! I think currently in the room beside us there’s an American Idol audition going on. They would likely be cut from the show by the way. If you would like to introduce your child to narcotics this hotel may be a great teaching tool. Oh, and neither of the treadmills in the “fitness center” actually work. Seriously, this hotel is awful. Enterprise, AL is a small town with minimal accommodations but I’d certainly look elsewhere should we have to return to this area in the future.

Worst IHG property I’ve stayed at I spend 140+ nights a year in hotels across AL, MS and TN. This one was awful. Room smelled so bad (like a wet dog) I went and bought air freshener. Everything is old and dirty. The air in the second floor hallway has leaked into the carpet and it looked like mold was growing in it. Not a good location either. Would not stay here again.

Mediocre Needs updating badly .. I would give this hotel a bad rating, but, the cleanliness and how friendly the staff were carries them. That being said, hotel infrastructure needs improvement in a bad way .. why did my sofa seat have a cover?... the shower was breaking apart ... not to mention.. was the AC outlet approved how it was on the ground?
