Don’t pick this one. Keep driving and make another choice, courteous staff doesn’t make up for old property. Not a great hotel. Room was lacking, in disorder, needed repairs to doors, toilet, chair, and breakfast was meh. Small tv couldn’t have been further away. Best thing we can say is mattress was okay. Not up to basic Hampton Inn standards. Courteous staff but an old property that needs updating.

Disappointing The staff was not helpful. Acted like we were inconveniencing them. The bed linens were not comfortable. The sheets are NOT cotton. The air conditioning was cool but VERY humid. Everything felt damp. The bathroom needs updating. Not what I felt Hampton Inn should be. Will not stay there again.

Don't Stay Here The staff was very kind and the common areas were clean, we observed cleaning taking place throughout our stay. However, our room was deplorable. As an "owner" of Hilton Grand Vacation Club, I am embarrassed that this hotel is in our portfolio. Dated doesn't even begin to describe the room, calling it small is generous, calling it clean would be a lie. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, the corners were dirty, the shower - while it had great pressure - hasn't been updated since at least the 80's. The drawers were so difficult to open on one nightstand that it pulled away from the wall when we tried. The carpet was sticky, damp and smelly. There was little room to do anything but sleep there, the space between the bed and the wall/"kitchen" area was embarrassing. And, while the staff did their best to make it a pleasant stay it just wasn't. They didn't even clean our room the entire 4 days of our stay. I believe my "points" should be returned as I would have never paid to stay in this hotel and will not again.

An honest and fair perspective We have stayed here many times, and we always request the same room. That said the metric for qualifying a rating, stay to stay, can be measured more accurately and reasonably. My initial thought of the hotel is that it is generally satisfactory; nothing spectacular but not the worst I’ve seen. I will agree with others who state that the room(s) have shown some age as well as some cleanliness issues, but within the last year (2023) I’ve noticed improvements in general maintenance and facility management throughout the property. As others have noted, there were observations that would be deemed unacceptable by even the least scrupulous people but it is clear that the hotel is taking the criticism seriously, as many of my own observations have been otherwise remedied. As someone who is in the profession of assessing building maintenance I can attest to certain aspects of this hotel’s needs but a more recent stay has left me pleasantly surprised. I hope that this facility continues to pull itself up and that the basics of expectations found amongst its guests continues to be addressed.

Not the nicest Hampton Inn. Needs to be refurbished. Like many have written, this hotel needs a complete refurbishment. Rooms are showing their age, wallpaper peeling and carpet is worn. Carpet in the hallway was very dirty and needed at least a cleaning. Bathrooms are very small with the sink separate and outside the toilet and tub; the toilet is so close to the door that you have to stand sideways to close the bathroom door - a poor design. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years but will not stay here again until it is refurbished. It is a step down from the Hampton Inn level. On the positive, the front desk person was very nice and the breakfast is what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn.
