Convenient location and Clean Rooms My husband and I had to find a hotel at 11pm while traveling. This hotel was conveniently located, and reasonably priced. Overall the room was clean and the property felt safe enough for us to keep our kayaks on our truck overnight. The lady, Heather, that checked us in was very helpful. All the employees at the front desk were awesome. We accidentally left my husbands pillows and when we returned 2 days later, they had them in lost and found.

The worst of the worst…taking advantage of being the only hotel in a 10 mile radius! This has to be the worst hotel stay I’ve stayed in, in my life the front desk person from the time I checked in was very rude I went to check in and he was upset because I booked thru a travel agent… I was driving and this is the only hotel in this small rinky town as is and the guy said if you don’t like I refund you and you leave mind you I was just trying to check in ai wasn’t even being rude. Then we get to the rook I should have just taken the refund there was hair in the bath tub and the bathroom floor they sent house keeping up and they cleaned it but that’s not the point , the air condition didn’t work the guy came in and rigged the plug for it to turn on See picture below, Next my basketball team players was trying to put their food in the mini fridge and there was a four loko opened can in the refrigerator see picture below I went to the front desk and told the man all these things he told me if I didn’t like the room to check out and find somewhere else to stay I was like are you kidding me. Last but not least then the elevator I pushed 3 to go up to my room and the elevator went back down to the main floor. My team was watching the UT game in the lobby and the front desk told me to take the girls to my room and be silent I started looking for Ashton because I knew I was being punked.

Out of control desk agent. If you have a problem here there is no way to speak to the manager. I made a reservation online for the wrong day (the same day that I made it) and was charged. The desk agent told me that the charge was ‘punishment’ for making a mistake and would could not be credited toward a rebooking for additional rooms and days which I wanted to make. The desk agent said the manager whose name may be Alex and who does not have a last name would be in the following day after 1:00 pm. I called. Not there. Was told that ‘Alex’ would be in the next day in the morning. Same desk agent answers and says tomorrow…. and so on. When I suggested that there was no manager named Alex (who does not have a last name), the same desk agent hung up on me. Red Roof corporate cannot give me the manager’s contact info. I will never stay at a Red Roof ever again.

There are better options. I would not recommend. We had a bit of trouble finding it so I called. Owner/manager answered but didn’t respond. Upon calling back, they had turned on an answering machine. Once we arrived, they were sitting in the entry way. The room was old and outdated. The fitted sheet was too small for the bed and kept rolling off. I woke up and I was touching the bare mattress! Gross. Also, no breakfast provided.

Simple, clean, but not very welcoming The staff are friendly. Especially the lady who was working during the morning shift. The room itself was ok: clean, simple, bare bones. OK for single traveler or couple/family with low expectations. Offers a TV, microwave, refrigerator, but no coffee maker. Very spare on supplies, just a few thin, scratchy wash cloths and towels for the bathroom and two tiny soaps. Now about the hotel; this is probably the least welcoming one I have ever stayed in. It is very apparent that the rule at this hotel is to cut costs in every single area. The clocks in the room are unplugged and the fridge is set all the way to warm. The lights and TV in the lobby were turned off at arrival and it was very quiet, sterile and dark. The feel of the common area was not welcoming and warm, there was only stillness, silence and the smell of floor cleaner. There is no pool. No breakfast is offered. There is a coffee pot in the lobby with dollar general brand cream and sugar. Everything screams cheap, cheap, cheap, which would be fine if the hotel itself were a little cheaper. I have stayed in $85 hotels that offered clean rooms and breakfast. Then again, I think this was the only hotel in this small town, so there is no competition. Will probably not stay again.
