Not recommended We thought it was a Comfort Inn (my bad). We had no trouble getting a room because there were few cars there. The room was comfortable with a TV viewing room separated from the bedroom and the TV would swivel so could be viewed from either room. The floor obviously had not been cleaned because my wife stepped on someone's toe nail clipping near the bed. The breakfast consisted only of cold cereal which tasted old. There was juice and coffee but not even toast. Not much for the cost of $104.00. I should have checked Trip Advisor first. Could not get a printed copy of the bill because their system was down but they did email it within 30 minutes.

This hotel is a DUMP... PLEASE do not give them your money! Both my roommate and myself had hair in our beds, the tub had brown slime all over it, and the night stand looked like it had month old sofa spilled all over it. Tried to cancel our reservation and had to deal with the credit card company for a week because I had over $1000 of pending charges on my account. Terrible hotel with awful management. Won't be in business much longer.

Not Recommended! Failed to read reviews on this hotel. Would not stay there again or recommend it . No air in the lobby was a sign, but the room had a air cond. and was clean. The lobby and outside were dirty. No working pool is another sign. The breakfast, if you can call it that was a little cereal. I would not have eaten a thing there, but tried the coffee and could not drink it. I would expect it not to be open much longer.

Terrible Management Last week we traveled from Baltimore to Eufaula Alabama and stayed at the Comfort Suites. Our group had a block of approximately 20 room. The website did not allow us to book our block of rooms so we called the hotel directly several months ago. The owner Mr Patel, told us that he could accomadate our group. He told us that the hotel would have a full hot breakfast and an indoor pool. This trip was a youth ministry trip for our church and we selected the Comfort Suites because this is the only indoor hotel in the town. All of the other hotels in area only provide rooms with doors that lead directly outside. Since the kids varied in age we wanted to ensure a secure indoor hotel style room. Upon arrival, i noticed that most of the hotel signs had a tarp covering over it. I found this very strange. There was only one sign that said "Comfort Suites". As we went to check in the hotel lobby had a very bad smell. The hotel smelled like it had been closed up for a while and there was a strong smell of curry/stale food. Our entire group stayed on the second floor of the hotel. This hotel has great potential however the house keeping was unexceptable. Several room only had one set of towels and the owner refused to provide more because he did not have enough. The pillow cases were dirty and one room had pillow with old blood stains. We had to go out to buy towel or more linen. The pool was closed and when asked about it the owner made up a story about a leak. The first morning we went down for breakfast and there was 3 cerals and a gallon of milk. The fruit and bread containers were empty and there was nothing HOT AT ALL. I had to go to Walmart buy grocery . We were fortunate that a church in the town allowed us to use the kitchen to cook breakfast for our kids. When asked the owner again said "he did not promise a hot breakfast". We left the hotel at 9am and i returned at 3pm to check the house keeping prior to group returning. NO ROOM WAS CLEAN. In my room someone came to take the dirty towels and did NOTHING ELSE. This was the final straw for me. I called the front desk and informed them of the problem. Mr Patel's son said please be patient we are searching for a house keeper to clean. I told him it we would cancel our check and move hotels if did not have the rooms cleaned in one hour. Several members of our group left and checked into the Quality Inn however our group of 40 students had to stay for the remainder of the time. Within an hour there was one lady who began to clean our rooms. She said "Honey i do not work here at all. I use to work here years ago and Mr Patel called to ask me to help him". The major problem with this hotel is that Mr Patel and his on are the ONLY employees. The hotel had signs all over saying that it was Choice Hotels property but we later found out that the hotel is actual in Foreclosure. We are the only guest who were staying there. When were leaving i noticed a crain truck arriving to recover the name of the hotel. This gentleman charged our group $85 a night for a hotel that should not have been operating. The sad part is that he refused to provide a refund. This hotel has soooo much potential. However it lacks proper hotel management. Save yourself the energy and stay at the Quality Inn.

This place SUCKS!!! Dirty, smells, no one at front desk. Way to expensive for this dump! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Had a friend stay at quality inn and suite down by the river which was much nicer. ___ ____
