Nice clean hotel. Nice clean hotel. Easy check in, free parking in a secure lot which is gated, free WiFi, was a swimming pool onsite but we didn’t use it. They put on a breakfast in the morning with all sorts of pastries etc and coffee. Perfect for a 1 night stay..

Decent Hotel We attended the area for my birthday trip at the end of July for three days. The room was not too bad, as the room was accessible and away from the main street noise. We used the handicap spot right outside our door and had access to it for the duration of the trip. There was a Keurig coffee unit, and the air conditioning unit was relatively new. Little noise at night other than the usual traffic of visitors coming and going. We travel with our pillows when we drive, and had them with us, so that helped with our sleep. Fridge and microwave were great to have and use. The floors could have been more cleaner, as my husband's white socks showed that extra dirt. The room was set up for accessible use, and did not disappoint, although we did not need these features. We appreciated the larger shower and guard bars. However, the setup for the sink and toilet was odd, as you can actually sit on the toilet and use the sink. That's a weird setup for a person with a wheelchair, although that person would appreciate turning from using the toilet right to the sink. There was enough room for a wheelchair in the bathroom overall. Maybe better lighting in the room. We had our electronics with enough outlets for plug in tablets and phones. What was a concern: the hotel had one entrance and one exit, and both were electronic gates. There were two other manual gates that were locked. If there was an emergency and the electronic gates not working, there would be a great commotion of guests trying to exit from the manual gates, when all should be available for use 24/7. The State Fire Marshal should investigate this. Despite all of that at least the gates protected its visitors, as we used our room key available to enter. Did not utilize the breakfast option. We would stay at this hotel again if there were other choices, but it is a good option.

Great place to stay in Eureka We stayed several nights as our daughter was starting school at Cal Poly Humboldt nearby. The room was very comfortable, the lobby was nice, and the breakfast was well done. The price was a little high, but it was a high demand time of year. Our room overlooked the parking lot and not the highway so it was quiet. The gated parking lot is a little offputting, but it functioned just fine. Overall, we would stay here again.

Terrible facilities and service. We won’t be back. There were five reasons for this 1-star review: 1. Neglecting to change smoke alarm batteries, causing disturbance during sleep. 2. Worn-out mattresses, leading to uncomfortable sleep. 3. Breakfast items running out due to delivery day. 4. Bathroom door was rotting from the bottom up. . 5. Broken services, like the ice machine. In conclusion, this place was terrible to stay at and we won't return.
