Capable hotel with a couple of quirks Newer facility was clean and neat. Breakfast was typical of most Comfort Inn properties. Front desk staff were particulary friendly. A couple of quirks. To get from the front desk to the sleeping rooms, you walk outside, walk 30 feet to a door (you'll need your room key) and then enter that portion of the building that contains the sleeping rooms. Noise from water pipes when someone is using a sink or shower is louder than most.

Bad bed, Nice Staff Awful beds and odor, great staff, bad location, but good continental breakfast for families. I'm pretty good with things not being perfect and going with the flow, but when you can't sleep because the discomfort of the beds I have to leave a review. I booked for two nights and myself and my family couldn't sleep. I felt like I was sleeping directly on the springs. So sad.

Worst service The worst experience we had . Pool and spa was out of service. The front desk staff, Shawn was angry on the phone when we arrive. Then he is angry at us for complaining about no spa service. The refused to check us in and cancelled our reservation. So after 6 hour long drive, we had no place to stay because we complained about their spa is out of service.

Good Room and Breakfast Stopping off for 1 night on a road trip the Comfort Inn Humboldt Bay was ideally placed for visiting the Redwood national Park. Breakfast was good and the room had everything that you'd need on an overnight stop.

Good stop near Redwoods NP Very clean and comfortable for a one-night stay heading to Redwoods NP. Hannah at check in was very upbeat and super helpful - pleasant after a long drive. Breakfast was the standard eggs, sausage, waffles, etc plus outstanding home fried potatoes. We would stay here again.
