Super 8 by Wyndham Evanston

Feels like false advertisement They advertise that breakfast is included yet all there was was granola bars and fruit. We asked if there was any breakfast but they said that was the breakfast. They did have very basic coffee and juice though. The outside of the motel was extremely filthy but inside the was somewhat okay. Just the floors would make your feet black.

Clean Easy on and off the highway. I stayed on my way to Vancouver Washington and on my way back to Massachusetts. Great experience both times. Very clean, lobby and rooms. No overwhelming smells. Reasonably priced. They have a decent self serve breakfast selection of fresh waffles, toast, yogurt and coffee.

Average or less It is old and worn but seems to be clean. There is nothing to be impressed with but it was reasonable and gave me a break from driving. I booked online so I didn't know quite what to expect. It will work is about it.

Pretty Terrible On arriving to check in, I noticed that the place seemed kind of run down. The woman behind the desk was talking with someone on the phone and it definitely was not business. After a couple of minutes, she ended the call and set about checking me in. Parking on the property is tight, and half of the time, I ended up having to park on the street near the adjacent apartments because people with large dually trucks took up two and three spaces. Outside my room, the place was kind of a mess. Empty beer boxes and other trash lying around and mud tracked through along the outdoor carpets. I got to the room and it was reasonably clean, and it in fact looked to have been renovated recently, but it had an odor. It was clearly a smoking room in the past, or adjacent to smoking rooms and the smell kind of permeated the room. The room had a pair of double beds, but it was clear that it used to have queens in it. The shower was okay until someone else in the building turned on their water. Then it got hot and cold. The bed was not comfortable. They were super springy and lumpy. After 4 nights, It left me with significant back pain. Currently, they are host to a number of transient workers who work shifts. So every night at about 3am, it sounds like a herd of elephants, and the cast of Stomp decided to practice their Irish step dancing. Every. Night. Lastly, and the worst part, They claim to have a "Superstar Breakfast". I quickly learned that their breakfast consisted of a handful of prepackaged mini muffins, a couple of varieties of small granola bars, a few really sad-looking apples and oranges, and a pot of the worst coffee I have ever had. Snacks..... They offer snacks. So if you are considering staying here, do yourself a favor and just keep looking.

Keep driving... This was the worst place we have every stayed. EVER. Nothing Super about this place. The Motel is run down, dirty lotsl of trash and filth. Beer bottles and cans lined the window ledges of rooms and on the exterior of the property. Our room was unacceptable. Dirty, unclean, bed was broken, sticky floor, paper thin walls, dirt and grime on the door, walls. Dead bugs in the light fixtures, refrigerator didn't work or wasn't plugged in. Room smelled bad. Front desk lady who checked us in was very short with us and not friendly. Large gatherings of people hanging out, outside drinking, smoking and being loud. No parking to speak of.
