Very pleasant and supportive management.I needed a room closer to an exit and the manager quickly accommodated my needs. The general manager was very pleasant and accommodating. I required a room close to an exit and he immediately switched my room to allow me the ease of distance for my walking issues. When checking in late the general manager was still very alert, polite an personable. The location of my room in respect to my transportation made my stay more enjoyable. The room was very attractive, clean and any needs for the evening were readily available. The location of the hotel made it quick and easy to get to my morning appointment in town. Recommendations on local food and groceries was greatly appreciated. Given the opportunity to return to the same hotel, I would gladly chose to stay again.

Just avoid WHOLE BUILDING HOT. No elevator. It was 90· Hot August day. It was hotter inside the building than outside. Broke sweat checking in with a clerk who doesn't speak English. Long HOT hallway and long steep HOT stairs followed by another long HOT hallway just to get to a room with an AC unit that probably hasn't been serviced in a decade. It didn't get below 85· till I was checking out. When I tried to check out. The lady behind the desk acted like she didn't speak English. Gave up. I'll never return and I highly recommend you going elsewhere. If I'm in the area again. I'd rather sleep on the ground outside or in my car than stay there again. It's Iowa. Why can't there be staff that speak English?!? How come this is an American problem now? I don't have these issues in other countries. America is the only country you can travel to and spend good money in a motel/ hotel and no one speaks English. No where else have I run into these problems.

Great stay in Fairfield, Iowa The facility was very clean, as was our room, and it had newer carpeting carpeting and bathroom. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The room was noise-free, we did not hear anyone in the halls or rooms next to us. The free breakfast was great - biscuits and gravy, waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage, as well as all the usual breakfast foods. The front desk staff were very friendly.

Clean and comfortable The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast choices were limited, but adequate. The weather was terrible, but they did a good job of keeping the parking lot accessible.

Awesome Pool!!!! Whoville was a bust, as it was to cold to wait 2 hours to get in. The very warm pool made the day for my grandson. He had so much fun splashing and playing, swimming with us. Breakfast was pretty good, could of had a few more warm items, but it was still good.
