This is a nasty place I walked from the shower to the bed with my feet in a towel...the towel was black as my tires on my car.......very nasty _ ...right by the highway you hear cars and trucks all night long....I wouldn't recommend staying here unless it's your last results

It'll Do For the Price If you're traveling to or from the Valley and Fulfurrias is your stopping point for the night, this Econo Lodge will do. It's older, and even with some renovations still fees like it. However the room was clean and while it wasn't the most comfortable place I've stayed, I was able to sleep. The free continental breakfast is Econo too, but if you don't mind cereal it's fine. Look around for deals, because you shouldn't pay much to stay and here and if you look around a little you won't have to.

Needs some work but okay As far as the rooms, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are well kept. For the price, this is the cheapest hotel you can stay at in town that doesn't look like a crack den. That being said, when I arrived I had gone grocery shopping and my mini fridge didn't work. An alternate room didn't either. Finally I had to swap a mini fridge out of a smoking room into my non-smoking to get a working one. The next morning when I woke up to shower, there was no working hot water. A few days later when I went to wash my clothes, the only washer on site was out of order. And let's not forget about maids who ignore "Do Not Disturb" signs. Maids, if you didn't know, typically get paid a set amount for each room they clean every day. Well, not a lot of people were staying during that time of the week, and my room was one of the only ones that needed cleaning. I came back from work early to do paperwork and put my DND sign out since my room really wasn't in any need of turn down service. The lady knocked twice and I yelled that I was fine both times. I could hear her talking through the door to a coworker that she saw the DND sign but that she was going to "check anyway". She then proceeded to open the door and freaked out and apologized when she saw me in there. Then shut the door and said to her co-worker "yep. I'm gonna get in trouble for that." *Note: don't fire anyone over that Econo Lodge, but tell them to obey the signs!* Falfurrias is the town where your dreams go to die. I've had to come to this god forsaken place three times this year. If you have to come here for work and don't mind management's obvious lack of up keeping the only "amenities" they have, then stay here to keep a few extra per diem dollars in your pocket. If you are just passing through the town and are tired, I suggest getting a coffee or energy drink and push through the drive until you reach a town that actually resembles civilization. No one should ever have to willingly stay in Falfurrias, TX.

Very helpful staff; Excellent value Our room was immaculately clean and large. We arrived late and tired, and I fumbled around with the AC in the room. I called the desk, and immediately a most helpful young man arrived and pushed the correct button! We were grateful for that speedy attention. The breakfast was very good. We would happily stay there again. Excellent value for the price.
