Fair, but needs upgrades to bedding and pillows Appreciate that there was a recent upgrade throughout, with rooms having new furnishing and carpets. Staff was helpful but inadequate. Bedding and pillows though were old and some stained ,desperately need replacing. Breakfast area very small and little to offer.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I stayed three nights at Econo Lodge. I was charged a $150 security deposit and $230 for the stay. A day after my stay I saw the security deposit and a double charging of my stay totaling $610 posted to my account. I called the hotel about this, they claimed the amount would be refunded in 1-2 business days, and it was a problem with their system that caused this. Two business days pass, I have no refund, no confirmation that this money will be given back to me. I call once again, the person claims the refund is on its way but will take 5-7 business days for me to receive. (I believe I spoke to the same person both times). As of right now, I have not received anything on their behalf, and am pursing further legal action.

Shadyladge Due to emergency vehicular repairs and concurrent athletic conventions in Fargo on August 17, 2023, I was forced to take a room at this place, supposedly one of the only places in Fargo with a room that night... I would otherwise have never considered doing that had it not been an emergency. (Take a look at the trash at the end of the parking lot and other tell-tale signs of it being a "shady" place.)...Taking full advantage of my misfortune, this "Shadylodge" charged me over $400 for a room. That, of course, was very disgusting, but the worst thing that may have happened (which I cannot prove) was my credit card was hacked by someone in Fargo within a 24-hour period on the 17th and- mainly due to the exorbitant charge for a night's stay-, I cannot rule out this "Shadylodge" as a possible suspect...

TERRIBLE - GO ELSE WHERE!! Breakfast area was dirty. Flies, broken counter. Tables dirty. Food on the floor. No fans or air conditioning in breakfast area or lobby. Outside: leftover old construction materials littered the parking lot; dry wall, siding. No landscaping, lawn or flowers - when we pulled up I knew this was a one star hotel, at best. Checking in - front desk speaks broken English - difficult to understand or to be understood. NO ELEVATOR. Up two flights of stairs to get to the next floor. Carpet dirty - especially the stairs. No one has bothered with the stairs since they put the carpet in. Room: two small pillows per bed. Two med sized very THIN towels - four people in room. When asked for more pillows they didn’t hv anymore - went to Walmart & bought three cheap pillows w/cases. Asked for more bath towels got two bath towels and a hand towel. Had to ask twice for towels bc they were so thin and small. Window shade was ripped at one end & very fragile. Room was VERY basic & small. NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM. They do provide a very basic breakfast but not everyone wants to get up and dressed to go down for coffee. Eggs tossed in a crackpot - runny. Sausage in a crockpot I did not touch. $225 a night! Trash overflowing in the hall for days. *note* if adequate trash cans are not provided in your room, trash will find its way out of the rooms & overflowing in the halls. Pool- my teenaged girls went to the pool where they commented that the front desk man gave them creeps. Kept staring and trying to talk to them.

One of the worst ever Where to start. Front desk staff were nowhere to be found, showed up after 5 minutes and didn’t speak to us at all. Checked us in and told us our room and it was not clean, beds messed up and towels everywhere. This was at 11pm! Gave us another room and the guy behind us had the exact experience. Gave 2 stars because of price and second room ok.
