Great people, bad room maintenance A typical Hampton Inn. Breakfast was the normal good food (as always the waffles). The staff was wonderful. Great people and so helpful. The room okay. The bathroom--sigh--really bad. It hadn't been cleaned since the previous guest. Used bar of soap in the shower as well as mold around the shower floor. One of the shampoo containers had fallen off the wall and was laying on the shower floor. The thing that held it against the wall was laying by the sink (so somebody saw it but did nothing about it).

Customer service was lovely but maintenance TERRIBLE Mildew and dirty bath tub, need renovation in here. In the suite the la.p cords are all in the way, the iron board was dirty. Stay at Tru Hilton, this hotel was opened 2005 and still look like it smh........................................

Hotel desperately needs remodeling This hotel desperately needs renovations. The outside of the hotel looks nice however from the moment you walk in you can tell it’s completely outdated. The staff was nice but the hallways and elevator weren’t that clean. When I got to my room (RM301) it had that old musty cigarette smoke smell. As if they hadn’t cleaned the walls or replaced the carpet in years. Even down to the wallpaper it was bad. Below you can see the mold in my shower and the horrible patch work. Though the bed seemed clean and comfortable, I didn’t trust the cleanliness of the bathroom, so I went to Walmart and purchased some shower shoes and my own towel and washcloth. I only stayed because I only had to stay 1 night but I would have absolutely changed hotels had I needed to be in the area a longer time. As someone that was a Hilton diamond member for 6 consecutive years I was extremely disappointed.

They need to do better than this. Right off needed lobby restroom. No hot water no paper towels and the toilet didn’t flush. Husband checked in while I was in restroom and they gave him one commentary water and one cookie. Proceeded to second floor bedroom for nap prior to our event. The shower wall has mold growing on the tub. I notified the desk and suggested they send somebody up with some bleach. They didn’t. The alarm clock on the nightstand was an hour fast because daylight savings was last Saturday. Breakfast was nice. Omelet, sausage, and hash browns and your standard waffle. The furniture was very worn out and ragged looking. This hotel is in dire need of some TLC. Hilton needs to look into this.

Hampton Inn Farmville, VA is a pass My husband and I both travel for work, so we stay in a lot of hotels and at a lot of Hilton properties. While this hotel was clean and when you could find someone working they were friendly. Unfortunately, that is where the good things end. The beds and pillows are not up to Hilton quality, which is very important to travelers. The entire building is run down and dated. Some of our family stayed at the new Hilton Tru property in Farmville and they said our was very nice. It was unfortunate to see a Hilton property in such bad shape.
