Loud street noise, poor customer service, and no internet I truly don't know where to start. The front desk staff when I checked in had no name tag and was dressed like a lumberjack. I'm not sure why he had the job because he had a no care attitude about customer service. I saw the printed sign that there was no internet. After I questioned why it was not on the website he said it was temporary and had just happened.. There was a printed, official sign. I went to my 2nd floor room and the smoke alarm battery was chirping. I called down. I was given another room. I had to go back down with all my luggage to get the key. After 3 trips up and down, I was in my room. The room itself appeared well-kept, wood floors, bright lights, BUT please ask for a room not facing the street!!!!!!! YIKES was it loud. The sheets smelled of bleach so if you are sensitive this is a BIG problem. It bothered me all night. The next morning as I made a trip down for coffee and the 2nd trip to leave, the smoke alarm chirp could still be heard up and down the hall. I reminded them again at the desk. While I was getting my coffee, I heard the breakfast person in the little adjacent prep room complaining about guests. I guess jobs abound in Fayetteville because neither of the 2 people I encountered should be near guests. I was the only guest in the area and when she saw me she stop and then said, good morning sweetie. Need I say more???? Price was right, but customer service and caring about the guests are lacking, the street noise was very loud all night, and not having internet are the reason for my score. All the manager could say is sorry. I lived in Fayetteville for 12 years and remember when this hotel was built as a Holiday Inn Express. I'm sorry it's gone down so.

Just pray you don't have an emergency and have to check out early. We chose this hotel due to the location being close to the family we were visiting and the fact that we are Choice members. Check in was seamless and the room was great and in a quiet area of the hotel. However, the parking was awful. A large FedEx truck was taking up about 6 spots in the way it was parked and didn't have an overflow lot or anywhere to park a small semi truck & trailer. We weren't allowed to use the adjacent parking lot because "it belonged to the church". We booked several months in advance for our 3 nights, a Sunday -Wednesday. Early in the morning on Tuesday {-well, before check out time-} of what would've been our 3rd day (we had already stayed 2 of our 3 nights) we had to check out unexpectedly. The manager/ owner's wife? I don't know who she was exactly, as she never introduced herself- proceeded to tell me she would have to still charge me for the 3rd night because of the "cancellation policy". I wasn't cancelling anything, we had something come up and we had to leave a day early. She tried to go round and round with me on this. I used to work for a Choice property for almost 9 years, so I know most of the in's and out's of the industry and what was up to Front Desk agent's discretion. Finally my husband came inquiring on the "cancellation charge", she begrudgingly agreed to check us out and "refund us" for the last night. Apparently, her hotel doesn't do authorizations at check in, charges only. But to each their own. Being a Choice Member you're supposed to have special concessions in place like this- i.e.: early check in, late check outs etc. She was quite rude and unprofessional over us having to leave a day early, which was completely out of our control. If I had to number rate this hotel, because of her rudeness and the parking issues, I would have to give a 2 out of 5. The shower was hot and we got great rest. That's the only positives I can give.

Horrible customer service. Very bad. Do not stay here. They allow people to smoke weed in the rooms, so it literally smelled like weed the entire time we were there and I told the front desk guy and he said “I’m not sure what to do about that.” The guy at the front desk was literally useless. We also had a toilet clog in the middle of the night and he told us to come down and get a plunger. Then said “bring it back when you’re done” like we hadn’t already had to inconvenience ourselves by putting on clothes and going down stairs in the middle of the night. Also, the bathtub is clogged as well, so our showers were in 6 inches of water. The bedding was clean is the only thing good I can say, but the front desk staff is completely horrible. No customer service whatsoever.

BUSINESS PERSONS BEWARE!! There is no Internet service at this hotel. The hotel must know that as they provide you at checkin with a tech support number for the ISP. When you call in a trouble ticket the ISP tells you that there is “maintenance” at the site. The system is down. I’m a Choice Diamond member with more than 250 nights per year in Choice hotels. This is the first hotel I’ve been in without Internet since 2005.
