Where the Devil likes to stay when in Fayetteville NC Do you like cockroaches? How about the smell of mold and mildew? Do you despise clean sheets and linens, and prefer to "air-dry" after a shower rather than use clean towels? Then I have the "hotel" for you! The Quality Inn & Suites Fort Bragg has all your desires for filth, desolation, pubic hairs galore across every bathroom surface, and as many ants and cockroaches as you can eat. For the more adventurous, sturdy types, you might even be able to benefit from random ceiling pieces falling on you, as my daughter got to experience during our 60 minute stay on 7/31/2021. I booked two rooms for our family as a stopover on a long drive from Boston MA to Largo FL, thinking I would break the trip up into two legs rather than drive straight through. Of course the pictures on the website promised us a pool to swim in, clean beds to sleep in with functioning televisions, and a complimentary continental breakfast the next morning. Upon arriving at the location (or "exclusion zone") of the hotel, a couple of the kids warned me about the graffiti visible on the walls of the hotel and the scurrying of insects across the parking lot grounds. Having driven for 13 hours straight, I was exhausted and much more willing to deal with accommodations several notches below what I expected or what was promised when I booked our stay. However, when my son had a cockroach on his pillow, another son had ants streaming from the shower head, my wife was wiping pubic hairs off the toilet seats, and my daughter had a piece of the ceiling fall on her, we finally reached our limit and decided it would be better to continue our road trip to Florida by sleeping in our car at a truck stop along the road in Georgia than spend another minute in this god forsaken hellhole. Unless you want to experience the literal definition of Hell's Waiting Room, avoid this place at all costs. And may God have mercy on your soul if you decide to stay here. Bonus Tip! If you leave the hotel and demand a refund within 60 minutes of arriving, the front desk staff will glumly refund your stay. But be aware that they will charge you TWICE as soon as you leave the premises!

Speechless, my entrance welcome was two females smoking, at my check inn everything was good, heading to the elevators once out of order and the other not working properly when i get off my floor all the corridor smells smoke from cigars, front of my room 204 was a debris near my door. Once in the room bathroom was dirty, toilet seat with urine stains and hair around the bathroom, bed sheets was dirty overall is a 1 star for me because the front desk agent was good and she don’t deserve bad ratings. Worst-Nastiest-Poorly Managed Hotel in US Do Not come to this debacle called a Hotel. It is filthy, noisy, caters to Junkies, hookers and dangerous surroundings (poorly lighted at night) Two Trash cans were overflowing by the doors, someone had vomited beside the door. There was a used syringe/needle laying by the entrance. In my opinion, of the hundreds and hundreds of hotels I have stayed in, in US, Canada, UK, Scandanavia, France, Germany, Italy, all over the Caribbean, Mexica, Switzerland, Hong Kong, and numerous other Countries over thew past 45 years of business and pleasure travel, this joint is by far the WORST one I have ever stayed in. My first warning should have been at check-in No one wasa wearing a mask, two "people" were slouched on a couch in the lobby watching TV that the volume was so loud I could not hear the Receptionist. She required my Drivers license and made a copy of it and filed it. As I turned away to leave a panhandler askwed if I had any spare change. I went to the room, and noticed there were no State eleverator inspection certificates in the lift. Both of them came to the gound floor. I pushed the 9th floor button and it took over one minute to get to my floor. Upon entry into my room, I noticed it had a "unique" odor. I dropped by bags, and turned on the TV. Only one channel came on, and the remote would not work to change channels. Then I was bombarded by two insects, and they would not settle down so I could swat them. There was Urine stain around the commode. Then upon plugging my phone charger and CPAP machine in, neither outlet worked. Thank goodness I had my travel extension cord and plugged it in across the room in a wall socket. In disgust, I called the front desk and asked to change rooms. I came to the lobby, got new keys to a room on the 5th floor and noted the lobby had a number of couples checking in and obviously the females were all hookers, with young Soldiers. I went back to my room and could not open the door with my original keys, and went back to the lobby and the clerkm came to the room with a master keyand opened the door. I moved to the 5th floor, entered the room, and unpacked and again the bedside outlets did not work so I used my extension cord. I had paperwork to complete, and was up and down several times crossing the room in my bare feet. I finally bedded down at 10:30 and at 11:45 a group passed my room making loud noises and banging on doors. Finally back asleep, and got very cold during the night. Noticed the bed only has a sheet and thin cover. Saturday Dec 5th, I started to take my shower, and there were NO hand towels, so had to use a small towls to wash. During the shower I noticed black water running off my feet, and when I washed them with soap and cloth, it finally disappeared. Drying was difficuly because the towels were worn out, and I used the second (and only) towel to complete drying. I got dressed, using the two towels to walk on the floor. I picked these up and noticed dirt stains from the floor on the towels. I noticed water damage on the walls and ceiling, and peeling paint on the walls of both rooms. The crowning incident was he young girl that was going somewhere, wrapped only in a towel, barefooted and obviously stoned (under the influence of drugs) The "Hotel" needs to be closed and torn down, and if rebuilt make sure the outside is well lit and parking lot re-paved. Never Again will I come here. I guess lesson learned-A name brand hotel in Fayetteville with rooms selling for less than $60.00 should be a clear indicator-DO NOT STAY HERE. I had a second room reserved next night, canceled both and awaiting refund of the second night they charged on my card.
