Great little motel Loved starting at Highland Country Inn, such a nice motel and close to everything in Flagstaff. NAU is right across the street and plenty of eatery nearby. There’s a gray coffee shop next to motel and a grocery store too. Folks that run Highland are super friendly, rooms are “just right” and very clean and tidy. We’ll be back

Location location location Great location, but a little difficult getting in and out of parking lot though. It’s located near a wonderful coffee shop, it’s right across the street from NAU and downtown not that far away. Rooms are neat and clean, and folks super friendly. Beds are comfy and I like tiled floors in lieu of carpet.

Wonderful hotel in Flagstaff What a wonderful surprise I can’t recall when I’ve been this impressed with an independent hotel. Very friendly, helpful, efficient Checkin. Large room with extra toiletry amenities. Very clean, quiet. Superb value for the money. Recommend for anyone who doesn’t require fancy digs for the night

Great find? Value and convenience! This was a really great find for the value!! We were able to check in early and were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our second floor room. Large fridge, microwave, king bed (super comfortable), smart TV, and overall a nice clean room. Location was ideal and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and breweries. Our check-in process was easy and the staff was super friendly. Looking for value and a great find, look no further!

Just an average motel, small rooms An average motel room (exterior corridor, walk up) on the smallish side. Bathroom also small with little counter space. Clean, minor scuffs and dings. Good water pressure, toiletries include shampoo conditioner lotion and Kleenex. Good towels, okay linens, beds a little soft. No pants hangers, 6 for shirts. A/C and internet work fine. No breakfast, Keurig in room coffee (two capsules of regular, one decaf, one tea). Microwave and nice refrigerator with freezer compartment. Smaller flat screen TV with HBO and local channels. Outlets okay. Limited check-in hours. Not at all sure why this lodging is so highly rated. It's a bare notch above a Motel 6 and other low end chains due to the coffee maker and better toiletries.
