Better than expected Check in was quick and the lady was friendly. Our room was towards the back and on the second floor. No elevator which wasn’t a problem for us. We were pleasantly surprised how nice the room is. No carpets which we prefer. Pillows are large, smell clean and 4 on each bed. Bedding is not stained. Beds are comfortable. A microwave, frig and hairdryer in the room. A small table with two chairs. AC is quiet. Windows open for fresh air. Shampoo and soap provided. Plenty of towels, not real thick or soft just regular towels. Chairs outside the rooms. There are no ice machines which is a negative. No coffee pot in the room or offered in office. Trains do go past frequently. I can imagine this is more of a problem for the rooms closer to the road. All the hotels along this road seem to be the same distance from the tracks. Checkout is at 11:00. We are pleased with this hotel and would stay again. We feel it is a good value compared to the cost of the other hotels in the area.

Missing normal amenities It was a last minute booking.. Yes it's cheap but... there are no reading lights or coffee maker, only has 2 pillows, next to highway although room is pretty quiet. It's very clean. I would spend a little more for another place. There are no views.

THEY STEAL YOUR STUFF!!! THIEVES DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! THE OWNER AND HER HUSBAND STEAL YOUR BELONGINGS FROM YOUR ROOM!!!! We booked two nights at the Mountain View Inn. The first day we drove out to Sedona. We put the privacy please card on the door handle but realized it was too windy to leave it on the door. It would just blow off. We tucked it into the door. We didn't want anyone in our room. We come back from Sedona at the end of the day and I notice the do not disturb card tucked more in the door then how I left it. We walk in and there was a huge pile of wet towels wrapped up in a sheet left on the bed. It came from somebody else's room. Disgusting dirty towels from other people. The bed was wet, nothing cleaned, no reason to enter the room with a do not disturb sign. There is no safe. We looked through our stuff immediately. My prescription for nausea was stolen. I had 20 pills unopened and six pills were gone. The side affects are migraines and constipation, nothing to gain from it. Also a pair of brand new leggings were gone. I'm so thankful I brought my jewelry with me. We had to get the bed changed so it wasn't wet. The owner and her husband snoop through people's rooms and take what they like. They blame the cleaning staff when you ask them about what happened. But their guilt reads very clear on their faces. The husband is accessing who is leaving. He noticed we were packing up the day of check out, and they put a sign not open till 9:30a.m. so they didn't have to deal with us. DO NOT GO HERE EVER! And if you do take all your stuff or it will be taken.

inexpensive but nice Inexpensive little motel but very nice. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and spacious. Parking was plentiful and love that I was able to park right near my room door. Air conditioning worked great as did the shower and bath. Was very happy with my stay here and would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area.

Do not stay here read reviews,,,,,, We’ll people I normally let things slide but everyone needs to know about this experience: I have stayed at several hotels and I have to say this is got to be one of the worst,I had good expectations since it was in Expedia portfolio. He we go checking in was good the adult office staff was super nice and helpful, that is where it ended!,… we got to are room and it smelled so bad from pine Sol that we had to open all the windows and leave the door open just to breathe. Then to are supersize are room did not look like the photo. No dresser, nightstand, bed spread had stains but appeared clean,no Coffey pot ,no blinds on bathroom window, microwave siting on small frig, spider webs in window heater worked but only on low no tissue paper no shampo water was reversed in shower, and wait the toilet did not work but they did supply us with a plunger… when I returned to the office I got a teenager to assist me and said they had no other rooms and gave me a small sample of shampoo oh and also stated no refunds ( so we were stuck at this dump).we left early as we could but office closed drop your room key in a beat up mail box. So now that I have contacted Expedia the hotel is saying we never told them about the issue and we never checked out either Lier,, we just followed instructions on door of office (let’s hope Expedia redeems itself here) have had good luck with them they should check out theses disaster’s Befor offering it to us. Hope this helps someone else
