Great Stay!!! My stay at Fort Lauderdale Hampton was wonderful! After a bad experience at another hotel, I booked a room at the Hampton at the last minute. Nissa, the front desk agent greeted me with a welcoming smile. She was very nice during the check-in and answered all my questions. The next day I needed an extra bar of soap and within 5 mins of me requesting it, Nissa was knocking on my room door with two bars she stated that she did not want me to wait. She is friendly with a positive attitude and is very professional. I will stay at the Hampton again!

Cruise/airport Traveler Beware! The shuttle to & from airport has specific hours/pricing! Not free as they say! Shuttle to cruise port is $25 pp & leaves at certain times. Uber was half the price! A/C was barely working(76). Staff is not helpful or nice! Next cruise new hotel!

Great location by airport and cruise port This was our second time staying here. The hotel was nice but the staff was not as friendly and helpful as they used to be. Just did feel very welcoming this time. Our room was nice and the breakfast had good choices. The van driver to the airport was on his phone talking very loudly the whole time. Made us feel very uncomfortable. Will look for a different hotel next time we are in Fort Lauderdale.

Last time We have stayed here many times before a cruise. This will be the last. Our room was ready way before our arrival time so that was nice. Our room was so small that a chair was in the way of accessing the second bed which we always use for luggage. There was no place to move it. I needed to press clothes since we have been on the road for several days. Finally the 3rd iron worked. I thought I might have to go buy one. I spilled water in the floor trying to fill the iron. I went to wipe it up and couldn’t believe how filthy the floor was. At breakfast the next morning, a patron beside me asked for milk for his cereal. He was told there wasn’t any!

Do not recommend Pros: Pleasant staff (apart from the shuttle driver), comfortable bed, spacious room Cons: Worn hotel, some rooms smell like swamp, digital key did not work for any of our 3 rooms (despite repeated trips to the front desk), unhoused sleeping in the lobby during the day
