Perfect Anniversary Getaway at Atlantic Hotel & Spa We stayed at the Atlantic Hotel & Spa for our 8th anniversary and couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate. The accommodations were fantastic! Our suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the jacuzzi bathtub was absolutely divine. The suite included a full kitchen, which allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner for most of our meals. Honestly, we barely needed to leave the room because we were so comfortable! When we did venture out, we enjoyed a stunning view of the beach from our large balcony, and on our last night, we took a short walk to a charming Thai restaurant nearby. When we arrived, we were greeted with a thoughtful snack swag bag and delicious champagne to help us celebrate our special occasion, compliments of Mr. Ricardo Esquilin and the Atlantic Hotel & Spa. The hotel is perfectly located right across the street from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wished. The staff were all wonderful, especially Ricardo, the Front Office Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we experienced everything the Atlantic has to offer. It truly was top notch. I would absolutely recommend the Atlantic Hotel & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious, and memorable stay in Fort Lauderdale. We can’t wait to return!

4.5 star hotels don’t have white plastic shower heads Pros: A nice hotel, friendly staff, HUGE room, beautiful ocean front view. But too many cons to stay again. Had this been listed as a 3 star hotel, it would have been ok, for the most part. Don’t understand the 4.5 stars at all though. It was the July 4th weekend, and I realize some of the issues the hotel couldn’t control. We arrived 10pm. No bell hop on duty and not only did the valet not help but he stood there watching us unload 7 bags ourselves. Didn’t even offer to get us a trolly! The room was not very clean. Furniture was stained and overall just worn. We requested bathrobes, extra pillows and a coffee maker (which were missing). There is no housekeeping staff after hours, but security brought us one dirty bathrobe, a pillow without a case, but no coffee maker (they promised one the next morning at 7am, which did not arrive). At 4am the man in the next room got on the phone on his balcony and proceeded to talk loudly and non stop until 10Am (so loud that it woke us up). We went onto the balcony and the smell of weed was so strong and so bad smelling we couldn’t stay outside. At 9am we went to the front desk and the manager was really nice and apologetic, offered us a new room 3 floors directly up from ours, but it would have had the same issues so we just stayed. She got us clean bathrobes, new pillows with cases and a coffee machine (it didn’t work well, but we used it anyway). Shortly after that the music at the pool started. It was so loud we could hear it inside our room with the doors closed, despite being 6 floors above the pool area. Additionally the station streamed played more commercials then actual music The sound echoed on the balcony so badly we couldn’t sit outside at times. We considered just leaving the hotel despite the 3 day prepaid non cancelable reservation. We left for breakfast and when we returned the housekeeper had done an amazing job cleaning the room. The group of a dozen stoners as well as the loud nonstop talker all checked out, and when the music would stop we could enjoy the balcony. We decided to stay, and for the most part the next 2 days were fine. Decent massage and a great breakfast in the restaurant (highly recommend Wild Thyme). Other petty annoyances: Bed was hard as a rock (some people may like that, can’t please everyone). Neighboring guests often yelled down the hallways at late hours, probably when returning to their rooms drunk. All liquid soaps and shampoo and even the Palmolive dish soap were watered down. I would hope that the $55 per day resort fee could go towards not diluting its toiletries and paying for commercial-free pandora. Overall, just don’t have any expectation for the basics of a 4 star hotel. Side note: very nice big bathroom. Many reviews talk about the fantastic shower. Attached is a picture of the $4 dollar shower head.

Beach parking Stopped by this beautiful hotel for beach parking today and was assisted by Santiago who was not only pleasant and professional, but provided me and my family with some great advice on local spots. Thank you Atlantic Hotel and Spa and Santiago for the warm welcome and assistance.

Nice experience My experience at Hotel Atlantic was nothing short of exceptional. The view of the 4th of July fireworks from the property was the most breathtaking I’ve ever had — truly unforgettable. The suite was immaculate, beautifully designed, and offered every comfort one could ask for. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The valet service deserves a special mention — Rico, Santiago, and Patrick provided outstanding service. They were prompt, professional, and consistently went above and beyond to make my stay seamless. I’m already looking forward to returning next year. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be the nightly valet fee — at $55 per night, it does feel excessive. However, this minor inconvenience pales in comparison to the overall luxury and experience the hotel delivers. Highly recommended for those seeking an elevated and memorable stay.
