Budget hotel in nice area This budget hotel is nestled in a good area. It is not a luxury hotel and should not be expected to be one. It is inexpensive and mainly used for extended stays by locals or a single traveler like me. I just wanted to see spring training baseball, go the beach and check out local places. Perfect for me. Improvements are being made now by attentive staff. I may not want to stay here with families or small children as there is no pool, breakfast or restaurant attached. There are many other things you can do saving $100 per night by staying here

DO NOT RENT A ROOM HERE!!!!! My wife and I reserved an upgraded room at the In-Town Suites in Fort Meyers. We flew in from California and when we arrived the office was closed and did not open until 11:00 AM. When the office manager finally arrived I told him I prepaid for an upgraded room. The office manager was rude and unprofessional. He told me they are available on a first come first serve basis. I said I prepaid for an upgraded room. Finally he agreed to put me in a room I already paid for. Then he said " We need you to sign a waiver acknowledging that there is low water pressure and only luke warm water so you need to go to your room and check it out first before you decide to stay here." I asked, did this just happen? He said, No, it has been like this for 4 days. I asked him why he did not let me know 4 days ago. He had no answer. The office manager told us he came from Fort Lauderdale and told us how much he hated working at the Fort Meyers InTown Suites location. He was young and very immature. He had a ground floor unit and our water pressure and temperature were OK but we heard the upper levels were where they were having the most problems. I found if you shower early the temperature is much warmer before everyone else in the building uses the shower. When we got into the room, there were only 2 thin bath towels, 2 wash cloths, 1 roll of toilet paper, No had towels, no hair dryer, no additional toilet paper and no shampoo, etc... Also, in the kitchen there were zero utensils, plates, cups,etc.. in the extended stay room with the full kitchen. I went back to the front desk and asked the manager for hand towels and toilet paper. He said, we do not have hand towels, we do not make up your room while you are staying here, you only get one roll of toilet paper and you are responsible for washing your own towels and buying your own toilet paper. WTF?!!! I can see if you are living there but I was staying there for 4 nights. No Toilet paper? No hand towels, No clean towels? To kitchen utensils or plates,etc... Then to top it off, the property is full of long tern low income people living in the building with many of them sitting on the curb at all hours of the day and night smoking outside the entrance doors. Our room constantly smelled like smoke from people smoking in their rooms. IT WAS TERRIBLE AND THE HOTEL IS A JOKE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU STAY HERE!!!! IT S NOT WORTH TRYING TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS!!!! SPEND A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Don't Do It We had 9 days reserved starting Christmas eve arrived after driving 18 hours because of weather and traffic accidents we were just before 8pm arriving. Only to find a locked up tight office and the after hours person that was called was a complete, well let's just say he was no help. Refused to check us in and told us we'd have to come back on Saturday. We had to find a room for 2 days only to return Saturday to find out they canceled our reservations and no longer had a premium room. We were told no rooms available other than standard. We looked at a king room that was filthy the bed well you could feel the springs through the mattress. And the entire place stank! We said no way and left I'm glad they canceled our reservations that would've been 9 days of ... Do not waste your money yes it is cheap , but it should be free! They do not care about their buisness obviously or their paying customers. Lots of sketchy people running around outside at night, no security, no one there after 7pm until 11 am.

Avoid This is a case of you get what you pay for. Yes it is cheap but there is a reason. It is old and has a terrible smell in the hallways. Beds are uncomfortable and made one wonder if there are bed bugs. While there is a kitchenette there are no kitchen supplies whatsoever. About the only thing they supply are a couple of cheap towels. We only stayed one night. I will say the clerk was very good about giving us a refund for the rest of the time we reserved. I felt like he was used to that.

wortht he price Stayed here for 2 nights, not bad for a cheap long term hotel, we did have bugs so we left, not sure if we would stay again. Staff was great, price was good. had micro wave refg. stove, seemed secure, Building was suppose to be smoke free but we could smell the smoke in the hall ways.
