Staybridge Suites Fort Wayne, an IHG Hotel

The manager was a horrible person to me I lost my house in a tornado in Nashville Tennessee and I'm a diamond elite member the highest tier that IHG has the staff was excellent and very nice to me I was planning on staying there for a couple months I was doing insurance with my home insurance representative and I completely forgot to make a reservation cuz I thought that they were going to just keep putting me over another night I lost my car half my house I had whatever we could spare and salvage I had in my room planning on taking it to the storage unit after we went through it the manager was so nasty to me I hope to God this never happens to her and how she treated me and told wouldn't give me a late check out told me I had to leave they were sold out which I understand I should have double-checked to make sure that I had a reservation but to treat anybody that way that's going through a situation that they are and then tell me that I couldn't come back cuz I didn't get out of the room until 1:00 trying to pack up all my stuff either and it was very hard and I was doing it all by myself and told me I was no longer able to come back because I was late getting out of the room when the housekeepers were still cleaning rooms I've never been treated so bad in my life or have I ever been through the situation like this to lose everything that you have and that you've worked so hard for and then to be treated that way is horrible the rest of the staff was so outgoing is so very nice to me I give praise to them but that manager is horrible it was horrible to me I don't know if she's having a bad day but she should leave that at the door I've been a district manager for years and I would never treat anybody that way I feel like I'm owning an apology and I I was embarrassed and made to feel like I was nothing because of tornado ripped through my home I don't usually leave reviews especially never a bad one but I truly believe in my heart that this woman was close to me for no reason I asked her to give my mom an hour and 45 minutes to let my stuff stay packed away back away so nobody's seen it she told me no to get my stuff my dog everything and get out of her property because I was late getting out of the room that's horrible and indecent and once again I hope that this never happens to her and I will never ever treat someone else that way

New/updated hotel with friendl staff Pros: The hotel is new and well maintained. The front desk staff who was there when I checked in late in the evening was really friendly. The rooms are good and spacious. Kitchen was clean. I would recommend staying here. Cons: The beds are very high even in rooms marked for physically disabled friendly. It's not easy for them to get into the bed. The pillow cover in my room had a dead mosquito and one of the towels had a hair in it. I think it's a minor oversight. We took 2 rooms and the other room was fine. They didn't clear the coffee maker in one of the rooms. I wish there was a few more options for breakfast.

Outstanding! This is an exceptional property. The outside areas are well maintained and inviting. When we arrived, Lynn at the desk was very welcoming and helpful. He is a super star. Our room was very upscale...spotless and all furnishings in excellent condition. No stains or ripped sofa cushions here! Quiet overnight. We booked a king one bedroom suite. Little extras provided were great. Breakfast area well stocked and squeaky clean. We have been Hilton Honors Diamond members for many years. I thing IHG has a new customer!

Great staff. Highly recommended. Stayed here during a research trip to the Ft Wayne Library. This is a little further out than we usually stay, but it’s well worth it. Even in morning traffic it was only 15 minutes into downtown. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Morning breakfast was terrific. Great staff. Fairly good restaurants within 5 minutes. Definitely recommend this place.

Very Impressed! Great Stay! This is a great place to stay, but be advised that there is no airport shuttle. The amenities list “free airport transportation”, “airport transportation”, and “shuttle bus service”. We called to confirm and we advised that there is no shuttle service. However, if you have a car, definitely recommend staying here! Just need to fix their amenities on TrioAdvisor. We only stayed 1 night but were very impressed! The suites are modern, clean, well equipped with a full sized kitchen. They are quiet and smell fresh (kind of like their complementary Dove toiletries). The staff is super friendly and helpful, the pool is a decent size for a morning swim, complementary propane grills are well kept and a nice touch, the breakfast wasn’t restaurant quality but for a budget hotel, it was done right! Scrambled eggs, sausage links, roasted sweet potatoes, boiled eggs, salsa bar, oatmeal with a topping bar, fresh coffee, bagels, different kinds of breads, scones (the scones were fresh and delicious). The attendant was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was hot and fresh! They even offer complementary newspapers and have a bag of popcorn in the room. We actually felt like we down graded when we checked into the next hotel on our trip. Wish we could have stayed a little longer at Staybridge. This is the kind of experience that all hotels should offer, regardless of your length of stay. Thanks for a great evening.
