a little hard to find, but a nice hotel to stay at. I stayed at this location near TCU and the Old University Shopping Center and enjoyed it. It is a small, quiet property with a helpful staff. Parking is paid unless you have a rate that includes this amenity. Coming off the I30 freeway, Vickery St is easy to miss, as it looks like the service Road at exit 12A. Once you see the Vickery St for the first time, it works out!

Good Stay - Good Location I had a good stay at this clean property where the hotel manager worked her tail off to make sure everyone had the best stay possible. They were kind enough to accomodate me with an early check-in and I enjoyed having a hot breakfast at a hotel for the first time in over a year. I was on business attending events at the Dickies Arena and Will Rogers Memorial Center and both were within a mile so I could walk to and from the events instead of paying $20 every time I went in or out of a paid parking lot. There are two restaurants within a block that are very popular. Both the Flying Fish (seafood) and Railyard Smokehouse (BBQ) put out some very good food. I would stay here again if I'm in this area.

A Bit Like A Used Car... First, the good. The staff was great. They did the best they could with what they have to work with. This Springhill could use a refresh. Here was my experience. I checked in and went to my room. The room looked fine, but oddly, the vent fan was on in the bathroom. And I'm glad it was, because that let me know that the light was burnt out in the bathroom. I called down and let them know, and since I hadn't unpacked, we decided it might be quicker and easier to move to a different room. They brought new keys and met me at the new room. In the new room, the TV wouldn't work. No signal. Again, the staff came to trouble shoot and they couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. So it was on the the third room. When they brought my keys for room three, they also brought a few bottles of water and some microwave popcorn. Nice touch. The new room worked fine. Until it was shower time the next morning. When I pulled up the tab to divert the water to the showerhead, it diverted about half the water. So I had water through the showerhead and through the tub spout. And finally, I was happy to have the shampoo, conditioner and shower get dispenser on the wall in the shower. I prefer the dispensers to the little plastic bottles, and the shampoo and conditioner were good quality products. But when I pressed the pump for the shower gel? It was empty... :-( All in all, great people working at a property that apparently needs some attention.

Excellent customer service The hotel was fine and we could not hear any traffic. Eli B who worked at the front desk was incredibly helpful with our room selection and helping us with questions. She went above and beyond the call of duty! The fitness center was disappointing and small/Covid-scary.

Central and Comfortable I chose this hotel mainly due to the nightly price and location near downtown. Getting here was ok via freeway but a bit confusing once in the city streets. I turned right into a garage where I saw the Springhill Suites but I should have taken the Next right turn. I believe the garage could have led me to the hotel but it was separate. Check in was quick and my room was a little dark but comfortable. A sofa, desk, bed and microwave with refrigerator rounded out the contents. The showers was an older style with Not much water pressure. Breakfast in the morning was quite typical with scrambled eggs, cereals, bagels, yogurt, etc. Parking was extra but my room rate included it for only $2 more per night instead of $9 so that was a good deal. There was a nearby shopping and restaurant area with Starbucks, seafood and Mexican food. 20 minutes from here was downtown Fort Worth. This was an older (but remodeled) hotel so I will likely stay elsewhere during my next visit to the area.
