The nicest Holiday Inn Express This Holiday Inn is the nicest one I've stayed in. Extremely nice and polite help, very clean and the rooms are very large, quiet and offer a nice array of personal items I haven't seen in other HIX hotels. Reasonably priced and covid protocols in place. I would definitely stay here again.

The nicest Holiday Inn Express This Holiday Inn is the nicest one I've stayed in. Stop over night Staff at the Front Desk was very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable bedding. Nice quiet place for a stopover night. There is current renovation going on, but it’s not a factor. There are many restaurants around the place. Price was good for a weekend. Breakfast was good but lacking non dairy milk.

Rundown and Dirty I’ve read that there was a renovation going on and hopefully this room is on the list to be updated but here are a few of the issues. 1. It smelled like air freshener covering up the smell of smoke 2. The shower curtain liner was stuck together at the base and it smelled strongly of mildew. 3. Large stains on the carpet 4. No hair dryer or ironing board. There are smaller issues that I would have overlooked if not for the condition of the room, cracked sink, mini fridge that had a mounting bracket at the top but was sitting on the floor by the desk, obviously it had belonged somewhere else. I would have done just one star but the young man at the front desk when I checked-in was pleasant and professional.

Thanks for the upgrade! Checked in late while passing through Bowling Green and before Nashville. The girl that checked us in did a great job and had a great attitude. We were walk ins and they were able to accommodate asking for two double bed rooms close together. Not only that but they honored the online price that I saw. Also she gave us two suite rooms and even though they were close to the elevator we were not disturbed at all by noise. Everything in the room seemed clean and the A/C worked great. Plenty of towels and shampoo/soap. The breakfast was good I had pancakes, sausage, bacon, omelet, and a chocolate milk. They are doing some renovations but I think they are close to finishing up as it wasn’t terribly noticeable or an inconvenience at all. All and all I think this was a great place to stay last minute.

Car broke down - picked this hotel We had car troubles. Car was towed to Hunt Ford. Based on reviews, we selected this hotel to spend the night. We are glad we did. The hotel staff was accommodating for our last minute request. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and cute (it was updated). The hotel was in the process of being updated. The free breakfast was good. Warm eggs, freshly cooked pancakes, good coffee. At 6 pm, fresh baked cookies. Very happy we chose Holiday Inn Express in Franklin.
