Candlewood Suites Fredericksburg by IHG

Definitely would stay again! After reading reviews that were all over the place we had my son and daughter in law go visit before we committed. The manager m, Miraza, was AMAZING! He showed them the rooms, spoke with them etc. We were there 3 days. It was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! All the staff were amazing. Tv had issues or I’d have done 5 stars. We weren’t there enough to be concerned but they were eager to accommodate!

Keep driving… don’t stay here! This hotel is a mess. Do not plan to stay here if you value your health and safety. The clientele was shady, noise with slamming doors ALL night. People loitering in the parking lot and halls. It was creepy and I did not feel safe here. My husband and I got up to leave on the middle of the night and there was a man sleeping in a chair in the hotel lobby. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I will never stay at another hotel owned by this company.

Do not stay here! This was a total nightmare. I booked two rooms for one night. When we arrived the lobby was full of people waiting to check in and no one was at front desk. I called the hotel number and no one answered. We waited for 30 minutes after traveling all day for someone to show up. When we finally checked in and went to our room the door unlocked but chain was on because the room was occupied so we had to go back downstairs and wait in line again. The next morning at checkout I received two receipts each for $28.08 that was charged to my room for accommodation. I explained to the man that my rooms were free and he said that was their portion of it, umm no sir that’s not how it works. He then took my number and promised me the manager would call me. Nope never did and he didn’t know how to refund. I have since called the hotel and the “acting manager” said it was a mistake that I was charged and she refunded only one of the charges. IHG opened several cases and the hotel refused to cooperate even though we have proof of the rooms being fully paid. The general manager carol was asked to respond and she hasn’t either. Save yourself the trouble do not stay here, go to exit 92 or stay down the street at the express

Choose somewhere else This place is gross. I have no idea how it was rated more than 3 stars. We needed a king room to stay over night to accommodate our family. All that was left was a smoking room. The room was extremely dirty. The coffee table still had sticky stuff on it. The bed frame was broken with exposed staples. The toilet seat was dirty. It was absolutely disgusting. I would never stay here again.

The greatest hotel This place was amazing! The rooms were very spacious and felt very comfortable and homey. The front desk workers were very helpful especially Nicholas he did a great job! They helped us through all the problems that we had and it wasn’t very much problems either. It was so good i had to extend our stay a couple more times give this place a chance!
