Will Cancel your reservation without notifying you If I could, i would give this establishment a zero because of the complete incompetence and disregard for its "guests". Let me start off by stating that I have stayed here before. I had a wonderful time. The room was clean, service was great, and my friends and I were deciding when we would stay again, hoping to make it a fairly common destination. Well, not anymore! None of us will ever go back after this last experience. We arrived at the hotel only to discover that our reservation had been CANCELLED and sold to someone else! There was NO CALL letting us know of this and the "reason" for it was spotty at best. Apparently, the credit card, didn't work, which is very odd because I had no problem using it for my new hotel room, at a different hotel. I did receive a call from the hotel earlier in the day, which I found odd, but there was NO VOICE MESSAGE and when I called the hotel, which put me on hold and then hung up on me 5 times, before I was able to actually talk to the front desk, I was told that everything was fine. I asked twice, just to make sure. So, imagine my surprise and disgust to learn that my reservation had been Canceled. We arrived ready to go to bed, exhausted from a busy day, only.to then spend nearly an hour trying to find another hotel room, because most were booked. Thankfully, we did. But, the stress of all this really tainted the mood of our entire trip. It also didn't help my heart either, which is concern because I have serious heart issues. To be honest, I am surprised that I didn 't have a heart attack. I could have. To make matters worse, as someone in a wheelchair, it was incredibly difficult to find wheelchair accessible accommodations. This hotel, and its management placed us in an incredibly stressful and traumatic situation. They provided NO COMMUNICATION as to an issue, and showed complete disrespect and disregard for our well being. There was lack of empathy and compassion, or even human decency. To be honest, I think that they Canceled our reservation because they could make more money on the room. As a plantinum member, I received a discount. The hotel also charges for toothbrushes and basic items, so this wouldn't surprise me. As this experience has revealed, the management cares more about profit than it does its guests. I highly doubt that I am the first person who they have done this too, and I highly doubt that I will be the last either. Make a reservation at your own risk! It's a shame too. It could be a wonderful place to go, but as of now, I will go anywhere where I am treated with common decency, humanity, and respect. This isn't it. Service: 1/5 Noteworthy details Will cancel reservation WITHOUT notifying you.

Great stay in Maine Stayed here with family. Right off the highway and about a mile from the outlets. Guest services was very nice as was the rest of the staff. Nice room with comfy beds and pillows. Great lighting in the bathroom for makeup application. Also comes with a free breakfast with lots of variety for food and drinks.

Cleanest hotel I’ve been in for a LONG time First visit to this location - hesitant after reading some reviews and don’t believe Others stayed at the same place. Location was not difficult as some suggested. I was next to highway and heard no traffic as others suggested. Upon walking in it was obvious that the hotel had recently been renovated/ decorated including rooms and bathroom. Everything was spotless and staff were constantly seen checking on things and tidying up. Can’t remember when / if I have Stayed at a hotel that was as clean as this - It was consistent… not just public areas or rooms. Staff were extremely pleasant and professional and it was obvious I. Speaking with them that they take pride in what they do. I would recommend this and look forward to staying there again

Just Okay The positive things about this hotel is that it is easy to get to from the highway, coffee in the morning was good, employees were friendly and helpful (especially the man with the Jamaican accent in the morning), Dove bath products, comfortable bed, no pets are allowed and Freeport village is a short drive away. The negative things are: it was difficult to get the room to cool off (74 degrees at night is way to warm to sleep), the tv remote only allowed a mute or number 8 volume which meant you could not hear it when the heat fan was running, it was difficult to change tv channels, room looked fairly clean, but finding somebody’s nail clipping on the tub was kind of gross although bedding was white and clean, there is some road noise since the hotel is between Route 1 and Route 295. If you are tired, you sleep right through that but if you have trouble sleeping you can hear the traffic. The breakfast was standard hotel free breakfast. Coffee and tea is only available in the morning. Cinnamon buns were kind of crunchy and egg omelets tasted like artificial eggs. We did not eat here the second morning. The room rate was reasonable but sometimes you get what you pay for. I am not sure we would stay here again.
