Nice hotel, bad beds Very nice hotel and good location. We were in town for a funeral. Clean facilities, super breakfast, nice rooms EXECPT the bed. It was hard and like sleeping on cardboard on top of concrete. If it wasn’t for the beds, I would stay here again. I didn’t expect this of a Holiday Inn

Don't go here for R &R. i checked in afternoon of 12/16 hoping to enjoy a weekend of peace and plenty of sleep. In all fairness it was posted there was conctruction going on. I was awakened at 8:15 Saturday morning to pounding hammers and power drills. i went to front desk and complained why was this going on on a weekend day. i then went back to the room and my keycard mysteriously wouldn't unlock my door, after numerous tries I was ready to go BACK to the desk, it worked. i got dressed and left the building. As I passed the desk, I asked the clerk if she locked me out of the room. She just shrugged her shoulders. I went back to the room about 4 pm and construction kept up till 530 pm. On SUNDAY I woke up to construction at 8 am, i checked out at 820 and drove home. i asked for the Managers business card and tried calling all day monday. Out of office or a meetings. I tried calling tuesday and was told by a stammering clerk that the Mgr. wouldn't be in today. I work in the Human Service sector and know f74k$ when I see it. I will be taking this up with my Discover card and Fremont BBB.

Poor customer service Family wedding....place definitely needs an upgrade and a re-do. (Hot breakfast was superb...best post-COVID I have had anywhere.) However, while most of the staff were warm and friendly, one day time manager needs to go back to "Customer Service" 101. Was rude and totally uncaring to my elderly sister who had an accessible room. The shower was covered with mold...she had to kill a large spider and was told: "well, this is Nebraska"! The manager threw her staff under the bus and all of this was done loudly, in front of several guests in the lobby. Very disturbing. I am a IHG member... was not a happy one!

Conflicting and not accommodating My family has been loyal to IHG for years (not that rewards status means anything but we reached and stayed at top tier by using it for every hotel stay). We made a reservation for the holidays, saw that pets were not allowed (understandable) and clarified that my ESA would be accepted - which are protected under housing and occasionally public transportation. This morning, 4 hours before check in we received a call "sorry for the inconvenience but you will not be allowed to bring your ESA". We've already flown from MA, paid the fee to bring her on the plane, bought a carrier that meets airline regulations, and canceled the booking to board her in MA. Because we were told she would be allowed. It's more than an inconvenience. If you need to stay in Fremont give the Fairfield your business.
