Comfort Inn & Suites Fultondale Gardendale I-65

Fultondale, AL Good when you're passing through. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean and in a good location. The room was comfortable and the rate was very competitive for the area. The hotel suffers from some deferred maintenance but it is a good place to stay for one night when you're passing through.

Not the place for a clean person While I didn’t see any bugs, the bathroom Had drops of something on the counter and floor. The floor in the entrance had little pieces of something; it obviously had not been swept. While I didn’t notice anything else, it was hard to trust that it was clean.

Ex Choice hotel members I called for a reservation at Comfort suites in Fultondale Alabama because we were members. The representative said they were booked and he offered a reservation at Laquinta. He said he found the best price. He didn't realize I was already there. He quoted $226. The lady at the front desk had a better rate $156. I was standing there so I canceled he said the cancelation had to go through another department.even though the reservation was not done! He then connected to someone that hung up in my face. My card was charged 2x. One room cost me $ 400. These people are a scam! Do not give them your credit card number! I repeat Don't do it! I will never call Comfort Suites or Choice hotels again! Disappointed ex members.

Worst Hotel Experience This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I checked in began smelling the odor of marijuana in the hallway. I informed the manager of the odor and directed him to a couple of rooms it appeared to be coming from. Instead of addressing the issue, he sprayed air freshener to mask the scent. Later that evening I awoke and smelled the odor of marijuana coming into my room through the vents. My wife and child were in the room and had to breathe the marijuana odor the remainder of the evening. The following morning, before checking out, I reported the issues to the front desk staff who told me they could not do anything and that I would have to call back a couple days later when the manager was working. I called back and the manager began telling me he never smelled any odor of marijuana when I pointed it out. The fact that he sprayed air freshener seems to contradict that claim. I asked him if he was claiming I was lying. He refused to provide a full room refund stating I did not address the issue before I checked out and completed my stay. I actually did address the issue before I checked out but was told to call back in a couple days. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had. Coffee was rancid and smelled awful. Only thing I could eat was a waffle and banana. Everything else was awful. I will never stay at a Comfort Inn and Suites again.

Loud car music at 2am. Employee no help. Room was ok. At 2am a car at BoJangles (next to the hotel) had their card door open and music blaring. We could hear from inside our room. We called the front desk, no answer. We then walked to front desk and they said they couldn't call the cops since it wasn't on their property. So we called the police, they drove by and the person turned down the music. Sad that the employee was of no help.
