Road trip We are on motorcycles and just book when we get close to being done for the day. This was a good choice. Good location, beds & staff.

Horribly dirty, roaches on the pillows Dirty room, garbage everywhere on the property, including empty liquor bottles, roaches on our pillows the last morning before checking out, carpet caused our feet to be black, at night many people just loitering around the parking lot, did not feel safe, cigarette burns on the bathtub, handprint on the wall behind the headboard, hair hanging from lampshades

Good deal for the money. Hotel location is very convenient and easy access in and out. Ample parking space. Better condition with instant hot water. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

short stay to visit family after Beach trip The room met my short 3 day stay after returning from beach. Room was clean and in a great location near restaurants. I recommend Baymont In Gaffney and will stay their again when i'm in town. The price was reasonable and was the main reason I stayed.

Room filthy, including finding crack pipe in the light fixture. I know this is Gaffney SC and wasn't booking a five-star -hotel ,but, was checked into room 217 which was clearly supposed to be off-market ( I am a retired Hotel GM). They were sold out, so clearly a money grab. Huge active leak/stains, no toiletries, no shower hear, shower curtain hanging off wall. Mold/mildew smell would cause major headache for most travelers. Changed to diff room ASAP. This room was filthy. Stained sheets,carpet, slight odor issue as well. Cobwebs in corner, headboard had greasy substance, Fridge has empty wrappers from previous guest. Microwave completely covered by spattered coffee- the inside was totally brown and you could smell the coffee by just opening the door-could not use. Oh, real problem-my child found a crack pipe in the vanity lights. I informed the GM the next day-said would refund my staff. I have contacted booking.com for 10 days now- no refund as I guess the property must authorize? Thankfully I will never be in Gaffney again, but I would sleep in car before coming to Baymont.
