Nice accomodations at budget price Small family hotel in great location. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Reasonably priced for season and level of accomodation. Appreciated the fresh hot coffee each morning. Will stay here again when we return to Galax.

Bugs in the bed We have stayed here many times since my first review in 2016 when I rated it one of the best Knights Inns. After missing two years here, this stay was not good. Upon rising, my wife found red welts from bug bites on her. When I pulled off the bed cover we found some kind of a creepy crawly. In addition the hotel room is showing much deferred maintenance like peeling wallpaper and loose tiles on the covered porch, a safety issue. This used to be a great bargain that I hate to give up. She won't stay here again.

Poor Dead bugs on floor, spider webs on window sills, no cleaning service for 2 night stay. In bad need of repair and update. I will never stay at this facility again!!!poor representation of a national chain.

Not Recommended- this was an emergency stay I was in a accident and this motel was the only thing available. It is outdated and dirty and has flies coming out the sink, but the biggest issue I have is they charged me two days for 1 day and will not rectify. The man seemed nice enough, the girl not so much. I checked in at 3:30 am on the 19th amd at 11 am was charged another day.

comfy bed/good shower, but hotel is old and flies are a thing. no continental breakfast as advertised. There were constantly flies in room, which hubby had to kill with his baseball hat. maid "forgot" to make the bed, even though we were gone 12 hours and she had left fresh towels and took the tip. 2 nice things: the bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
