Hampton Inn Gallatin

Not new, but great. It’s not a new hotel, but it’s great. It’s been well taken care of and has been upgraded. I didn’t give it a 5 because some of the carpet is worn and not clean. The rooms, however, are very nice and the beds are comfortable. The location is wonderful with shopping and restaurants very close, several within walking distance. Desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay and it’s away from Nashville which is a huge plus.

Fun with friends in Gallatin! Wonderful room, friendly people at the front desk, and a fabulous breakfast with delicious Hot Chocolate Bar!! The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast had: regular waffles, mini waffles, with all kinds of toppings, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cereals, sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, scones, toast, all kinds of coffee. It was excellent. Plenty of seats in the breakfast area for out group of 8 to laugh and visit! Will definetely stay here again!

Would stay Stayed for one night. Read reviews and decided to tey. Room and hallways were clean and nice. Swimming pool outside and no jacuzzi. Breakfast consisted of waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and so basic. The staff was really friendly.

The good reviews are definitely subjective… I chose this particular hotel because it had great reviews.. not sure which Hampton Inn these people stayed at, but there is no way it was this one. I’ll start with the good. Rooms are basic, which is fine. I do appreciate having an in room microwave. Seems most hotel chains have done away with that. The area is good. The waffles at breakfast are good. The hotel itself is decent. Common areas seem clean. Didn’t use the gym or the pool. For the not so good. As soon as I got off the elevator on the 4th floor I could smell mildew and it was very stuffy in the hallways. Now I know this is the south and it’s currently hot enough to bake bread in a mailbox, but aren’t hallways generally air conditioned? My room wasn’t bad until we took showers and the vent fan ran and all I could smell in the bathroom was mildew. My whole crew is pretty allergic to mold/mildew so this was a little concerning. Thankfully I always keep extra allergy meds on hand. The privacy/blackout shade looked like it had been gnawed by a mouse. It had little holes up and down both sides that let all kinds of light in. There’s hair everywhere, even on the ceiling. Dark curly hair which doesn’t match anyone in my party’s hair. Every time I needed something, I messaged the hotel and never got a response, maybe they dislike technology? No regular house keeping, but I did request it multiple times bc with a toddler in tow the floors need vacuuming daily. Never got it. Never got clean towels. Had to go down to ask for them. No toilet paper. Had to go ask for it. No Kleenex. Garbage overflowing and nowhere to take it. Again, with a toddler you create a lot of trash, some of which is really stinky. You have to stand at the desk for an extended period of time before anyone emerges from the back to help you, at least once the morning crew leaves. If I wanted to do everything myself, I could rent an air bnb. Some of the perks you expect at a hotel are at the very least made beds, fresh towels, toilet paper, empty trash cans, and clean floors. The prices of a hotel stay have gone up significantly, but the benefits are fewer and farther between. I asked for late check out via messaging in the app. I guess no one checks the app, so I didn’t get it. The front desk said they were over their max when I asked, but then agreed to give it to me anyway, but appears she did not, as housekeeping was waiting on me to get out at 11:15. As a Hilton Honors member that travels a lot, I’ll definitely be marking this hotel off my list of places to stay again. It is not up to par with what I would expect from the Hilton brand.

Amazing property Gallatin Hampton Inn is a fabulous hotel. This hotel is spotless… the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms & the entire property are beautiful. The entire staff go above and beyond, they are so kind & professional… They made our stay amazing-especially Dianne the GM & Veronica. The hotel has a great pool and fitness area. They also have an excellent breakfast. There is ample parking and many restaurants & shops steps away. This property is by far the best hotel we’ve been to owing that to the outstanding staff! They take pride in what they do…
