Lovely stay. Very clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located off the freeway and had easy on and off access. The receptionist was friendly and had my room ready and waiting. We will probably stay here again in the future as we travel between phoenix and colorado.

nice inexpensive hotel Both staff members (when I checked in and on the way out) were very friendly and helpful, making sure that my stay was a pleasant experience. Parking lot was well-lighted and the bed was comfortable. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

What a horrible turnaround from last year I stayed here because I liked them when I stayed for a similar amount of time last year during their initial renovation. It was noisy then but I figured I couldn't complain since at least they were improving the hotel. The breakfast is good for the price of the hotel and it's cheaper than most other hotels in town. HOWEVER... They refused to refund the rest of my hotel stay after I checked out after a night because I had to return home early due to a family member's suicide attempt. This was after their drink machine ate the last of my available cash. Their "newly renovated" rooms are anything but. The bathtub was badly, badly chipped, the room was unpleasantly warm when I arrived and took forever to cool down, and that air conditioner might have been the noisiest one I've ever experienced in a hotel room. The door didn't properly lock because the door was mis-set in the frame and the backup swing-bar latch didn't stay over the ball and I kept having to reset it. The window seat pad was covered in badly flaking pleather material and I'm not sure why the chair at the desk was covered in a clear plastic bag. I'm hoping it wasn't bedbugs. When I was getting my stuff to bring in, I was approached by a homeless guy outside who kept licking his lips and staring at me and would not leave me alone. I used to like this hotel. It's far outside of town to the west and getting there when the sun is setting sucks because it's directly in your eyes, but I had a soft spot for this place, the cinnamon buns, and the kitschy statues outside. Now I have a sour taste in my mouth for Microtels.

Perfect Stay When Traveling Solo. I’m traveling cross country, and by far this is the best hotel I have stayed at on this trip. It was super clean. Everything in the room worked. As a solo female traveler it felt safe. The staff was friendly and super helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay and wished I all hotels were as enjoyable.

Great Price for Nice Rooms! We booked online so we weren't expecting a whole lot, just some beds to sleep in while traveling across country. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The outside looks like every other hotel in the area, but the rooms were so pretty! We were given a newly renovated room that was new and clean and the beds were comfy! The breakfast was nice, not a big room for it so the choices were limited but still enough. The people manning the desk were extremely friendly and nice! Would definitely stay here again!
