Close to the beach and clean. Room was big, super cold, hot water, and walking distance to the beach. I would recommend this hotel. The breakfast was ok. But they had free coffee for me, so I give them thumbs _ _ _. The room very clean we had plenty of towels. The pool is small, but who needs it when you have the beach walking distance.

Dirty Room, had to clean up myself. Ne care from mgmt or Choice Hotels Checked in June 11, room 314 upon check in restroom was dirty, urine in toilet, wet towels & beer cans on the balcony. Went downstairs to speak with agent. Told me they had only king suites & "we have to sell those" but ultimately gave me a different room. Low & behold, dirty tub, food & trash on the balcony in the new room. I called Choice Hotels immediately so I can cancel without paying, the rep advised me if I stay we could get "compensated" for the room just call in after you check out. No one was even sent to clean so I ultimately cleaned the room myself which NO guest should be expected to do. You cannot imagine how dirty my wife & I felt the bed or sheets or towels were & how mentally unpleasant that made our trip. Still the location was good. I checked out, called Choice as instructed & was offered some points & told that the GM & management from this location would be calling me in a couple of days for the refund request but if i do not receive a call follow up back with choice hotels. Called back after some days & was told I would receive an email or call with a refund offer but offered some points instead. Still have not received any email or calls. What a way to lie to a person & keep their $, I am a Marriott Bonoy Gold member & Hilton Honors Silver & travel a bit for my company. I will not be staying at ANY choice hotels in the future & after my experience & the runaround I have advised my friends & family my experience with the Quality Inn & Choice Hotels. Only correspondence I received was an email from the manager stating he will show this review to the cleaning team & hopefully we can service you in the future...that is it. I am starting to think I will not receive a call back from the GM or anyone involved with Quality Inn & Suites for a refund or anything. I would gladly have paid extra to stay somewhere else.

DO NOT STAY HERE !!!! !! DO NOT STAY HERE !! We booked a room for the weekend and when we got there the property looked very rundown, there were homeless people in the parking lot and we had to wait 12 min for someone to come to the front desk to assist us. We got there in time to check in to be told that the room was not ready and that it would be another 20 minutes. The desk attendant told us he will call us when the room is ready. 2 days later, on our way home and still waiting for the call.

Needs remodeling When we arrived we missed the drive for check in, we parked and went in the back way. This area was humid and dirty, the lobby was nice. Which gave me a false feeling about our rooms. The rooms were old and had a bad smell once we turned the A/C on the smell wasn’t as bad. The only reason for a 2 star is the staff was nice. The breakfast was decent, I would not recommend this hotel!!!

Old, dirty and smelly hotel! The name of this hotel does not reflect the service and the whole outfit. Our check in did not go smoothly, the receptionist character didn't suit her job especially dealing with public. She got flustered when our cards didn't work, plus she overcharged us for checking in early and one night extra. Anyway, the manager sorted it out and got part of our money refunded. The standard room that I booked through Booking.com with ocean view did not happen. The receptionist lady told us that they tell their customers they only have partial ocean views. She put us in the second floor, we could a little bit of the sea. Our room is old and has a musty smell to it. There's stains on the carpet. I had to buy essential oil to masks the smell of the room. Also we could hear the traffic noise, even with the doors closed. Room decor is as old as the hills. The bed sags in the middle, not comfortable at all. Breakfast consist of powdered scrambled eggs, some type of deep fried bread, waffles, cereals, etc. Nothing healthy about that, except for free mandarins they offer! Even the yoghurt is artificially flavoured. We asked the receptionist if they changed the breakfast menu, she said it's the same everyday and throughout the whole year. No wonder Americans are obese! No way I'd come back to this damp hotel.
