Would Stay Here Again The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast offered eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, 3 kinds of cold cereal, yogurt, toast and jelly. Our bed was very comfortable. The downside was that the room total was $2 higher than on our reservation. The clerk said that the Choice hotels does not calculate the taxes correctly (which just happens to make their room more attractive.) The other problem was that the luggage cart had 2 flat tires making it very hard to use.

Cheap in every way No hot water, dated furniture, very uncomfortable bed. The room AC wasn’t working right due to a faulty thermostat. The pool was closed in mid-June. The price was low compared to other hotels in the immediate area (you get what you pay for I guess). But I’d rather pay a little more and not take cold showers. Wouldn’t stay there again.

A truly pathetic exame of "hospitality", professionalism, or any customer service skills whatsoever skills Please be aware that I was employed by Hilton Hotels/Hampton Inn as, alternately, A Revenue Manager, Sales Manager, and Assistant Hotel Manager. I checked in 2 hours ago (12/19/2022). It took 25 minutes for the Front Desk Associate to complete the check-in. Then she claimed the hotel has a 3 NIGHT MAXIMUM STAY, in spite of the fact that this is billed online (on multiple websites) as an extended stay facility. She proceeded to ANNOUNCE MY ROOM NUMBER as she produced my keys, in front of a random male guest who had been attempting to chat me up for the 25 minute wait to complete check in. Following this, my room keys DID NOT WORK and I was forced to cart my belongings back down to the lobby, and she failed to even offer an apology. When the second set of room keys worked and I gained entrance and attempted to lock the door, the dead bolt ("privacy lock") DOES NOT, IN FACT, LOCK. When I called to let her know, asking that someone fix it tomorrow (because by this time, obviously, I am exhausted and exasperated), AGAIN, NO APOLOGY. She possesses ZERO CARE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Just now, at approximately 11pm, when I went downstairs before going outside to smoke, I had to interrupt her very important Christmas gift conversation with her fellow employee to gain her attention, and pointed out that this IS IN FACT AN EXTENDED STAY HOTEL. She argued with me rudely even when I showed her the booking.com website where I was free to reserve a room here for 11 days for $1107. I then thanked her for speaking my room number out loud TWICE in front of random male guests, one of whom reeked of marijuana.. She then threatened me with immediate checkout because of my VERY VALID COMPLAINTS. This Associate is by far the most UNSKILLED, UNCARING, PATHETIC EXAMPLE OF A HOSPITALITY EMPLOYEE that I have ever seen or heard tell of. She is an utter disgrace to this establishment and I am literally disgusted that I have been subjected to such behavior IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY. I respectfully request that the GENERAL MANAGER (NOT AN MOD) contact me ASAP TOMORROW (12/20/2022). Thank you

Needs major makeover Positives first: all staff were attentive and friendly. But this hotel seriously shows its age: dirty fraying carpet in halls and elevator; room carpet so outworn and nasty that I wouldn’t walk in my barefeet; worn out furniture; cold shower water. When I complained about water, I was told to try again later. That yielded more water too cool to wash my hair. Then I was told, « Last night was cold. » Outdoor temp shouldn’t affect room water temperature. The price was reasonable, but I’d pay more for a hotel that doesn’t so obviously show its age.

In need of renovation Pro: (1) the hotel is located conveniently to the Charlotte airport; (2) the staff was very friendly and helpful. Con: (1) the carpets throughout were worn and stained, obviously in need of replacement; (2) one of the three rooms we reserved had not had the sheets changed from the previous guests, and there were bugs in the bed. I'm a Choice Privileges member, so I've stayed at a variety of Choice hotels all across the country. This one was probably in the saddest shape of any I've stayed in. There are 3-4 other hotels in this immediate area that might be better choices.
