Bus trip We were on a bus trip. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was basic. The WiFi was strong. The rooms did not have a clock. The room didn't have a micro wave. The room didn't have ice bucket or glasses. There were no vending machines.

Daily housekeeping service was outstanding. Breakfast bar was also very good! A thoroughly enjoyable visit, we will most definitely be back.

Poor hotel experience, too many issues. We stayed at the Spark in Germantown for a family event. It was a disappointing experience. ROOMS - there's an infestation of ants in several rooms, one family member had to check out, the ants had taken over the counters. Hotel said they were sold out, so she went to the Sheraton. Another family member changed rooms after she found bugs under the bed sheet. a third family member had a smelly wall air conditioner unit-they changed the filter, but it didn't help. No ice, no microwave, no cups in bathroom, no alarm clock-bare minimums. The rooms have a stale odor. BREAKFAST - I would suggest going to the area restaurants, the bagel breakfast offered didn't taste fresh. FITNESS CENTER - water was dripping from the ceiling, as such tile had fallen to the floor. Called the front desk to let them know..., they sent someone who did a very poor job in attempting to clean it up, dripping water wasn't addressed. ROOM RATE - was very attractive for the first night, but the rate was increased for the second and third nights. I have never experience a hotel changing the room rate after the rate has been confirmed. Felt like bait and switch, the room rate shouldn't change after the reservation is confirmed. At check out the manager wasn't around, I called back and got a supervisor who told me that's the way they price rooms, rate is subject to change based upon occupancy. Even after they have confirmed the reservation. STAFF - all seemed pleasant, but young and inexperienced. At checkout the young man was yelling from behind the wall that he was coming..., took him almost 5 minutes to come check us out. RECOMMENDATION - I would not stay here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many hotel choices in the area, it was a poor hotel experience.

Clean and simple Up visiting daughter and her family in the area. Booked online due to price and reviews. Room was simple and bed comfortable. Not big or small. Very clean. Seems to have daily maid service. Always could find parking but sometimes in the back. Breakfast bar consists of 3 types of bagels, one flavor yogurt, two flavors of muffins, Oj and coffee. Signage in hotel clear but not so on line. Overall was good for our needs and staff quite pleasant

Clean hotel at a good price. THe Spark Hilton in Germantown is a newly refurbished hotel...a good price. No "enclosed storage" drawers, or closet in our 2Queen room....several open shelves and hangers/hooks. Relatively meager breakfast. Still, clean hotel at great price.
