Staybridge Suites Denver - Cherry Creek by IHG

Great First Stay in a Staybridge Suites Great stay over a hot Denver weekend. Very nice and friendly staff and the hotel was very nicely remodeled (except for the elevator which they noted and was also pretty slow). Lauren at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming and really gave an amazing first impression. Location is prime within Cherry Creek and very dog friendly. A/C worked very well. Kitchen was equipped nicely in case you need to use it.

Clean and Comfortable Our room was great! We booked the one bedroom suite. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was a great bonus. We liked how convenient the hotel is to downtown Denver and close enough for day trips to Boulder and the Rockies. The Cherry Creek Trail right behind the hotel was great as well. The breakfast was just OK and we could hear other guests watching TV but not a deal breaker. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s been a while since I enjoyed my stay at a hotel so much The hotel justify a 5 stars review, easily. I arrived early, around noon, and immediately got a room. I know that it depends on the hotel capacity, but it’s always a good sign when the front desk does the effort to find you a room early. The room itself was big, with a kitchen area, adequately equipped. There was more than enough storage space, with a safe in the room, and of course free WiFi. There is a small gym, and a pool. And a free laundry room. The hotel is located just across the street from Target, which is more than convenient. There is also a narrow river nearby, if you want to go on a morning run. Breakfast is also included, although that the only thing that didn’t impress me. A typical Holiday Inn breakfast. I’ll definitely return in future visits.

Very Dog Friendly! Overall a very pleasant stay despite the renovation! First, yes, the hotel is under a complete renovation as of the end of July 2023. It looks like they’re about half done. But I was put in a newly renovated room and didn’t hear a peep! The only thing I noticed was work trucks and equipment in the parking lot. Second, they were so nice to put me on the first floor by a side door which was perfect for me and my little dog who was with me. This property was perfect for me and my dog because there was a lush green field right outside the side door! Further it’s a very dog friendly hotel which dog treats by the front desk and lots of comfortable spaces to walk, especially when the pavement is too hot for their paws. Yes, there is a strip club nearby but you can’t really see it from the hotel and it did not bother me. What is strange is that it’s on a corner with a Super Target (easy walk for groceries/supplies for your room), Starbucks, gourmet cookie company, PF Chang’s To-Go, Petsmart, etc. Being curious I looked up zoning policies for the city of Glendale (the home-rule enclave the hotel is located in) and they are described as “libertarian” and it looks like you can build and operate whatever you want wherever. Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel if you want space for you and your dog, you and your kids, etc. I’m sure everything will be back to 100% soon as the renovation continues and concludes.

Family friendly accommodation with unique perks I booked the hotel months ago to accommodate my family of 5. Absolutely loved the space of the two bedroom suite. The wifi was slow in our upper corner of the building, but our room was freshly renovated. The outdoor pool and basketball court area was wonderful.
