Why do so many Hampton Inns smell bad? While the beds at Hampton Inns are always fabulous, I am finding a wide variety in the quality of the rooms despite the wonderful beds. I booked into the Gonzales Hampton Inn and immediately had to check out because the smells in the hallway and rooms was just too overpowering. I don't know if they are using scents in the carpets that build up over time, failing to air out the hotel, failing to clean HVAC filters, or just what, but even after moving to a different Hampton Inn in Hammond, I battled the stifling smell. I bought a candle (didn't help much), turned on the fan on the HVAC unit and the overhead fan and just tried to make it through the night.

GONZALES, LOUISIANA HAMPTON INN Overall a great Hotel to stay in the Gonzales area next to Tanger Outlet Mall. There are many restaurants, Olive Garden, Walk Ons, Dons Seafood, Chilis, Chipotle and fast food restaurants. One thing I must bring up the staff at the hotel, from General Mgr, checkin staff, breakfast staff and room cleaning staff were excellant0. I am highly recommending this hotel.

Stole my money I booked a room using this sight 1 hr ago and was told that it wasn't showing in the hotels system when I went to check in and that it would take 30 min and I'm still waiting so I had to spend more money on another establishment for my client and i can't challenge the charge because it still says it's being processed and the web site is saying non refundable well I haven't received any product to even demand a refund so can you all give my money back

Very good stay Very nice stay. I was in town for a meeting/update. The room was nice, breakfast was the standard food for the hotel. Plenty of parking, close to places you can walk to to eat, either fast food or sit downs.

Hilton let down It was mine and the wifes 33 year Anniversary so i got the Jacuzzi suite Room was not that clean and the tub didn't not work told the front desk she said i'll let them know . Water was brown coming out of faucet . Very disheartening pictures make it look better than it is look like the sides on the tub was half fixed very dissatisfied .
