Not everything stays the same! Econo Lodge has certainly turned the corner and heading in the right direction! After reading some reviews and having stayed at a few other Econo Lodge locations I was a bit reluctant to make a reservation but I went against my instincts and booked anyway. After staying 2 nights I must say that I'm so glad that I gave this Econo Lodge a chance! This motel is 100% Aces in my book! I arrived well before check in time and the people at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure a room was ready for us, even going outside to physically verify with housekeeping that a room was ready as well as going to the room in question and checking for themselves that the room was complete and satisfactory! The check in process was quick, staff was kind and courteous and the & room was OUTSTANDING and completely surpassed my expectations! Bedding was clean, floors freshly mopped and bathroom was clean with extra soap, shampoo, other toiletries and plenty of towels! The morning of check out i was running behind so i called front desk and without hesitation or monetary compensation they graciously gave me an extra hour to check out! Overall the Econo Lodge in Goose Creek gets my vote and approval 100% This is without a doubt the best Econo Lodge I've ever stayed and honestly one of the best, cleanest, nicest and accomodating motels, not to mention reasonably priced motels I've come across yet. I don't give 5 stars often but this place truly earned and has my 5 stars. Thanks for making my stay so positive and pleasant Econo Lodge!

Clean room, good location close to restaurants and shopping. Nice clean room, comfy bed, everything we needed for a good night's rest. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Prices comparable to hotels in area. Would stay there again. Location was perfect for what we were there for in the area. Would stay there again.

Don’t Stay Here If you want a good nights sleep, don’t stay here. A train track runs alongside the hotel. It whistle’s at least 3 times per night. If you want a clean floor, don’t stay here. The fake wood floors haven’t been mopped in a century. If you want clean walls, don’t stay here. It hasn’t been painted in years. If you want the room cleaned daily. Don’t stay here. The staff will smile and say they will have it cleaned, and then apologize profusely when it isn’t cleaned by the end of the day.

Dirty Floors The floors in the room were dirty. We needed to wear our shoes in the room to keep from getting our socks and feet filthy. A continental breakfast should be more than an apple and a packet of instant grits.

At Least Give Me Clean Sheets! My experience left something to be desired. I pulled back the comforter and sheet and saw dirt on the bed between the top sheet and the fitted sheet. Upon further inspection there was dirt, HAIR and stains. Housekeeping obviously doesn't change the sheets between every guest. Then to add insult to injury the manager offered not to refund me for the stay but to discount my next stay at his hotel by 20 percent. No thanks, Mr. Patel, I'll pass.
