HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOTEL Really terrible experience with this hotel. I was traveling across the U.S. with my cats and this hotel showed up on a search on Bookings.com as a pet friendly hotel. When I arrived there was a sign on the desk saying that the hotel is NOT pet friendly. I had paid in advance for one nights stay. I ended up staying at La Quinta Hotel. The paid reservation for Country Inn was charged to my credit card for two nights. I had reserved only one night. I disputed the charge and three months later a person from the hotel called to say that I was being charged as a "No Show". I did show up. I was there but could not stay because of their no pet policy. DO NOT STAY OR BOOK AT THIS HOTEL. THE PERSON WHO CALLED ME FROM THEIR PHONE (701-757-2207) WAS RUDE AND KEPT INSISTING I WAS A NO SHOW. I HAVE INCLUDED A SCREENSHOT OF THE BOOKINGS.COM LISTING FOR THIS HOTEL UNDER A "PET FRIENDLY HOTELS" SEARCH.

Great value and pleasant stay Excellent value at this property. Rooms were clean and the property feels modern and well maintained. Easy check-in and good location near plenty of restaurants. Easy drive to the UND campus and event facilities. Good TV channel selection with some free on-demand options and the ability to link your Netflix account. Very large pool area with a couple of hot tubs. Monica at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Will certainly return when I'm in the area.

BAD EXPERIENCE OVER THE PHONE TO MAKE RESERVATION!!!! I called to make a reservation and they must hire anybody there because I had to repeat my Credit Card back to this little girl about 10 times and she still never got the numbers correct. What a waste of my time and am very unsatisfied with their customer service skills! Definitely would not recommend staying here!!

Great stay! Very friendly staff! The hotel is very clean. Enjoyed the pool area. Our suite was very spacious. We had a great time. Kids loved the tots pool with a slide. It was very safe for them. It was extremely quiet in our room. The bed was comfy. Pillows could be a little more fluffy but we got by.

Good Stay, Minor Issues Our family stayed at this hotel for three nights in February - we booked the King room with adjoining two single beds. The room was very comfortable - spacious, clean and the beds were very comfy. The bar fridge provided in the room is very small and it was tough to keep snacks and drinks in there at the same time. Not really a major issue, just beware if you're bringing milk, snacks, and leftovers if you need to keep them cold! The hotel itself is conveniently located right off the interstate, and we didn't notice much in the way of road noise at all. It's located next to the main drag with popular shopping and restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking out front. We really only interacted with the front desk staff and they were all very friendly. Our kids enjoyed the pool area a great deal - it was never busy, and there is a lot of space for kids to splash and play around. The pool stays open until 12AM which a huge plus when you want to let your littles burn off steam. We ate breakfast each morning - the kids enjoyed the waffle maker immensely, and we had scrambled eggs/sausage each morning. There were other options available as well - the coffee was OK - not the strongest, but it was good enough. The only other issue we had was with housekeeping - after extending our stay for the third night, we had no fresh towels and our garbage cans were full. So we requested a room clean at the front desk before leaving for the day. When we returned, the room clean did not happen - so we had to go down to the front to get towels, and tied up our garbage and took it out ourselves. Again, not a huge issue - but you would expect a service to be done. Aside from this, our stay was perfectly fine and I would stay here again when I return to Grand Forks.
