Great place to stay I have been to this place before and was a little worried with the recent reviews. I can say that the poor reviews are completely unwarranted. Staff was friendly and always someone around. Rooms are clean and modern enough. Grounds are very clean. Also it’s just so close to the action downtown. Less then 5 min walk. The sauna wasn’t working and hot tub also wasn’t working but not the end of the world. I was told that the hot tub was within a week of being fixed. This hotel has so many features and amenities that I blows all other competitors away. Even if a few things aren’t working. The restaurant is good and good service. They have black jack and one more table game. It’s all a lot of fun and all I one place. Will definitely be setting this as out default hotel for any future grand forks trips

Nothing But A Memory Now The TownHouse has been torn completely down and no longer exists. A lot of great memories there.... but now, that's all it is, a memory. Weddings, dances, concerts, meeting friends, great meals... nothing more than a memory.

Old and worn out So far the staff has been friendly. Sauna and hot tub still not working (1/25/2020). Place is dirty and the heating unit in our room does not work - pool side room so we don't need it. Room wall paper is peeling but room was clean enough. Dirt drifts are sitting on the bottom of the pool and side light is out, sitting on the walkway with the electrical cord still attached. Is this safe? Electrical conduit is hanging down under the car port entrance with electrical wires exposed. This pace needs some serious work. I would rather spend double than stay in this place again. And the pool is COLD! Beds are hard as wood. Be prepared for a loud night if by the pool because the bar is there and staff make no effort to keep people quit outside the bar.

MOLD GROWING EVERYWHERE FROM ROOF LEAKS I'd give this place zero stars if I could. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, especially those with current health issues or children. The roof is falling apart and so water leaks down the walls into the second floor rooms, this is the reason the wall paper has bubbling in it. There is mold growing in the vents, in the walls, and in the PTAC systems. Half the PTACS don't work properly, heating up or cooling down. They don't rinse out the coffee pots when they make new coffee in the morning, nor do they ever clean the coffee maker at the coffee station so I'm willing to bet there's mold and bacteria growing in that as well. You'll see buckets up and down the hallways because the ceiling is constantly leaking. The rooms reak of mold, stale cigarettes, dust, and animal urine. If you walk down the hallways and look up (room ceilings also) and see patches of black, this is mold people! I don't know how this place hasn't gotten shut down for the hazardous conditions yet. AND it doesn't end there. The staff working there are all disrespectful, unhelpful, rude and unapologetic. Jacob, the overnight is about the only one who has manners and should be working there. The manager Amber Schell smokes marijuana while on shift and is never available to take any calls when people call and ask to speak with her. She talks openly about how far beyond repair the place is and is constantly bad mouthing her managers and the owners. The atmosphere of this place, on a scale of one to ten? I'll give it a one, and it would only be a one if Jacob was the one on shift. I don't know how to report this place for its hazardous conditions, but I hope a guest comes along who does because this place needs to be SHUT DOWN before somebody gets violently ill from the amount of mold growing in the facility. Spend the extra money and take your family elsewhere. This place is a dump!
