Where to start Wow. Where do I start? My plane was delayed by 2 hours in Denver enroute to Grand Rapids. While waiting on the tarmac, I tried to arrange a motel as I was going to be far later than my ride would be comfortable with. Finally Econolodge was able to do 24 hr shuttle. No word about a $15 shuttle fee. Then the continental breakfast was awful. The milk was sour and and orange juice was bad. No spreads for the toast. Thankfully the room was clean. But the sink and tub had terrible drain issues. Never again.

Real shady people I booked a room for a friend of mine so he didn't have to sleep in his car not thinking they would want a actual deposit. Cmon it's econo lodge. Maybe just a credit card on file for incidentals like most places. I put room in friends name and he goes to check in later and they won't let him without 80 deposit. Ok. No big deal. I call priceline to get refund so I can just get room somewhere else and priceline tells me they won't let me cancel or get refund. That they are keeping the money. So I call them and explain. Sure enough they will not let me get refund. Mind u I booked thru 3rd party so econo lodge has done 0 work. Ask if I can leave my debit card so they can have something on file for incidentals. Nope. We are just gonna keep your money. Real shady people here. That hard up for business that your gonna keep someone's hard earned money who was only trying to help a homeless friend out in the first place. Class Act econo lodge.

Good Basic motel in Grand Rapids As with most motels in the Choice Chain this one is getting older. Since the pandemic the quality of motels nationwide has suffered. However this motel was good for an overnight stay. It's a bit warn but comfortable. Everything in the room worked and we had no major issues during our stay. The staff was very friendly. We felt safe in and around the motel. Breakfast was the basic Econolodge fare and was well stocked. We chose this Econolodge as it was rated higher than all the other Choice Motels in the area.

Spotless large rooms with free breakfast and a reasonable rate. Friendly efficient staff, spotless and large rooms, decent breakfast and fair price. While the rooms are VERY clean, they do need some basic refurbishing, painting, replacing rusted a/c vents, usb lights by the bedside, etc. If you can look past some cosmetic things and appreciate cleanliness, lots of space, free parking, free breakfast then this is a great value.

Average Large unit with separate seating/tv area and desk. Mini fridge, micro, bar sink and safe. Close to restaurants. Paper thin towels. Seems like an older place that has newer flooring. Included breakfast was cold and hot cereal and waffle maker. No yogurt or egg products.
