Old looking room for hubby, dogs and I The room looked old but we were traveling with our two dogs so that was fine. We were not in the room much anyway. Dogs, hubby, and I had family and friends to visit with while we were there in town just a few days. Hit coffee places and found a new great one. Double Barrel at 1500 9th Ave. S. Great Falls. Coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. What more could you want from a coffee place.

Good budget hotel but don’t expect quiet or modern. Overall this Wingate is highly dated. It feels like you’re walking into a 1980’s lobby when you enter. The elevator is extremely slow, there’s only 1. Once in the rooms there’s no thermostat, just controls on the machine. And you can hear everyone walking below or above you. In fact you can hear and feel them through your pillow on the bed. Breakfast in the morning is alright but nothing special. They have the standard toast, bagels, make your own waffles (1 machine was broken), etc. Unfortunately when we went down they were out of yoghurt, eggs, sausage, and coffee; this was about 9:20 and it’s open until 10am. They were eventually restocked at about 9:45-9:50 after the attendant was done talking with someone that said they were a blogger. Overall if you’re looking for a hotel on a bit of a budget it’s good. As well the location is easy to access most shopping and restaurants around. But if you’re looking for something more comfortable look to some of the newer hotels in the city.

Okay stay. We stayed for one night on our way to Washington. Upside, the room was clean and fairly comfortable. Downside, breakfast. Probably best that if a food item isn’t ready to be served (in this case it was the gravy for the biscuits and gravy), it’s best not to serve it at all. It was cold and even after nuking it in the microwave, it still tasted terrible.

Comfortable The pillows were the best. Rooms clean and staff is friendly, polite, and super helpful. I'm definitely staying here Everytime! My family is big and we don't ever get treated quite like others, but not here. More people and staff need to be like those ladies! Thanks Windy and night staff!
