Great hotel Beautiful spot. The surrounding area is lovely on the river is picturesque and away from any sketchy areas that every city in the world has. The hotel staff put a lot of care into the gardens around the hotel. The flowers are gorgeous. The rooms are large and very clean. We stayed in a king suite on the 3rd floor and it has a separate living room bedroom kitchen combo that was awesome. Staff is super friendly. Nice pool and outdoor sitting are, lots of parking. 10/10.

Construction Suites This hotel is currently in the midst of a significant remodeling project. At the time we booked (3 weeks ahead of our stay) we were not informed of the construction. When we walked in we were greeted with “please pardon our mess.” The hotel was a mess - construction materials and tools lining the hallways, dust everywhere, noise, yellow tape restricting access to amenities, overhead lifts and workers in the lobby. I appreciate the need to update and keep the hotel updates, but we should have been informed ahead of time. This hotel at this time is not up to the standards advertised as a Staybridge Suites property. We paid a normal Staybridge price for something far less, and when I told them I was dissatisfied with the conditions of the hotel, they did nothing. I am guessing the project will last most of the summer - stay somewhere else until the work is finished or demand a hefty discount.

Pleasantly surprised! Well I received a call 3 days prior to our stay and was asked if we would change our type of room we requested. I was disappointed of course but they gave us two rooms instead of one and one was complimentary. It was a great offer and we accepted but I was still disappointed. However when we arrived I was so surprised with the rooms we received! They were amazing and they were clean, they each had a kitchen, we had a river view what more could you ask for. The staff, as always, were so attentive to our needs and made our visit very enjoyable. They serve a complimentary breakfast every morning and it is really good. I also want to thank Laurie for making this all happen for our weekend. She was wonderful to deal with and I was very happy with the offer she gave us!

Undiscovered Sanctuary I’m visiting family in town. My parents stay here all the time and highly recommended it. I travel frequently and am skeptical of hotels in smaller towns. This hotel got everything right from my name on a little note card when I arrived in the room, to other perfectly appointed details. I could immediately take out my favorite cookbook and feel at home preparing a meal. In the closet was everything I needed. I can’t say enough about the hotel. From the moment I was greeted by Elise at the front desk, to Linda and Devon, Rachel to Christine and Laurie to Justin. Don’t miss this GTF gem. Super hats-off to Elizabeth A!

Will return Front desk check in excellent! Room clean, and well stocked with thick towels. Bedding was buttery soft. Breakfast excellent, the cook was always checking to make sure there was lots of food! We would stay here again!
