Great place to stay within steps of Green Bay’s night life. Stay at this hotel while in Green Bay, very friendly front desk staff, pretty good breakfast. Rooms were clean, with a really nice pool area with an arcade on 2nd floor. Only thing is hallway looks a little rough and main parking lot is quite small with construction going on but rooms are quite nice. I would definitely stay here again if in Green Bay

Everything was great.. except the room! This isn't the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, but it was certainly not the best. The room was dated and smelled like cigarettes, even though the hotel said they were a smoke-free facility. Our bedding was also not clean entirely, even after requesting a bedding change. Our phone also kept going off at 5AM on the dot every single morning despite no requests for a wake up call. Finally, on the morning of checkout, I woke up with a couple insect bites that I didn't notice after being outside. What I will give this hotel is that the staff is friendly, the breakfast was great, the pool and hot tub were great, and it is in a perfect place in Green Bay where you can walk anywhere. If the room were to be updated and a bit cleaner, we would return. Other than that, we do not plan on staying when we return to the city.

Great service, good breakfast, old, tired building This hotel is a mixed bag. The customer service was excellent, as was the breakfast. The location is convenient to many local shops and restaurants. My room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large and clean. I had a nice sized fridge and a microwave. However, the building is very, very old and looks it. The hall where my room was located is in need of (bright) new paint, new carpet, and better lighting. My room was dim and kind of depressing. The hard flooring was dark, the room really needs fresh paint, and the lamps need higher wattage light bulbs. There was a ceiling mounted light fixture but it was old, yellowed and dirty, and the bulbs were low wattage, so it didn't help very much. The furniture also looked quite old. The TV was excellent but be aware that local networks are not available (or I couldn't find them). Renovate and spruce up this place and it's 5-star, easy. If old and dark doesn't bother you, I highly recommend it. If you need bright and cheery, you may want to look elsewhere.

Excellent location and friendly staff Friendly and helpful front desk staff, and also kitchen staff. Excellent location right in downtown… literally a few minutes’ walk to restaurants and other attractions nearby. There’s a big game room inside, which was awesome and certainly unique for a hotel like this. Room was extra spacious, and that was great for our family of four adults! Bathtub was slow draining, but otherwise the facilities were good.

“Budget hotel” does not mean guest safety is optional. Stayed two nights. The first night was good. The second night was not. On the second day we were in our room with the “do not disturb” sign on the door. My spouse went out to pick up food and I stayed in the room to change clothes. A few minutes later the room door opened while I was standing in the middle of the room changing clothes. To my surprise it was not my spouse but a housekeeper that let herself into the room. We were both surprised and she saw more of me than she ever should have…. I told her to get out and she left. I immediately called the front desk to repot the incident and asked for a manager. I was told a manager would call me. My spouse came back with food and stopped at the front desk as a manager still had not called me yet. The front desk person said the “issue has been resolved” and no manager was needed. Well, the issue was not resolved so we called corporate to report everything. Corporate listened to what happened and worked to resolve it. Since the front desk staff would not contact a manager on our behalf, corporate did. Corporate was very concerned about what had happened and continued to apologize. It took over two hours of our time to get a resolution and the resolution was only because we contacted corporate. The local hotel staff did nothing to resolve the issue and blocked us from speaking with a manager. While we will continue to remain with the “Choice Hotels” rewards program and stay at various properties around the country, our experience with this specific hotel and its staff left us feeling our safety was not their priority. A “budget hotel” does not mean guest safety is optional.
